    Elvin Bishop and Johnny “V” Vernazza shared guitar solos and soloed together like this song. Elvin has been around forever and always has a great band. He belongs in the RnR HoF!

    Elvin is an American Treasure.....you really need to get into his history and catalogs, not just his alone but with other players and bands. Very very impressive list indeed if you are into the older days of Blues, Soul and Rock'n/Boogie Blues. Real deal guitar player and slide guitar aficionado.

    You two had me laughng so hard I was crying...and that was before the singing even started! The next time I'm down and need a pick-me-up, I'll be checking out this video again. 🤣

      I've never left additional remarks to my own comments before, but I decide to take my previously stated advice today, (five months down the line), being I was in need of a real mood-lifter. Not only was their reaction still an absolute hoot the second time around, I was able to further appreciate Elvin's amazing guitar handiwork, as well as the tasty chops of that (unfortunately, nameless) piano player. This is Southern Rock/Boogie heaven! And kudos again to the hilarious comedy improv team of Coleman & Williams.👏Love you guys.❤This reaction video is truly one of their best--really entertaining and animated. It's not to be missed.

    Elvin is still one of the top blues guitarists in the US. And he always puts on a great show, as well as his rapport with the audiences. He's everybody's next door neighbor. The kind of guy you would love to just have a beer with and some laughs. I saw him in basically a large bar, and he walked right past me with his guitar, going into the audience! He's played with all the blues greats. He was one of the tops in SAT scores in the country, and got an elite scholarship to a Chicago university, I believe. He can play a slide guitar like it's a part of his soul! Next, try 'Stealin' Watermelons'. He has played different styles, but this song is at his funky country blues best!

    That was Elvin and Johnny V duck walking across the stage playing twin slide guitar. Elvin was one of Killer B's with Paul Butterfield and Michael Bloomfield in the Butterfield Blues Band. More fun (Stealing Watermelons" from Juke Joint Jump.

    It may now be an official rule in Hollywood that any movie set in the mid to late 1970s is required to include "Fooled Around and Fell In Love" by Elvin Bishop on its soundtrack or, at the least, playing in the background of a scene for even just 10 seconds or more. 😂

    • @user-lq4qe7pj9s
      @user-lq4qe7pj9s Před 6 měsíci +1

      Frampton certainly had his time as a true phenom. Another interesting 1970s/early 1980s rock band that the guys could give a shot is Rainbow. Ritchie Blackmore, the lead guitarist of Deep Purple and iconic "Smoke On The Water" guitar riff, formed Rainbow after leaving Purple. One of the interesting things about Rainbow is that they had 3 different lead singers with hit songs from all 3 during the group's run. Original lead singer Ronnie James Dio scored 2 top 40 hits in the UK while in the band. Graham Bonnet, the next lead singer, had hits in the UK with a cover version of "Since You Been Gone" and "All Night Long." Joe Lynn Turner, the 3rd lead singer, made the charts with "I Surrender" (top 5 in the UK and top 20 in America), "Can't Happen Here" (top 20 in the UK), "Stone Cold" (#1 rock chart in America, while being top 40 on both the US and UK overall charts), and "Street of Dreams" (which was a top 5 song on the US rock charts). If nothing else, Rainbow evolved musically in about its 10 year run and that could make them even more interesting as a reaction subject.

    So uniquely American and WONDERFUL! The "Hank Aaron's bat" lyric absolutely stopped Nick in his tracks! SO funny! It was so over the edge, I couldn't stop laughing. Horrible, but hilarious! Anyway, thanks for another amazing listen, Boys.

    This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with "Travelin' Shoes".
    I was wondering if you would be willing to do a song by a lovely lady by the name of Lara Fabian. You are very young and it is a very emotional song. Maybe you're a tad too young to appreciate it (especially because it is in French), but I think you may enjoy it. There is a live performance of "Je suis malade". If you've ever had a broken heart, grab a hankie. You'll need it. Thanks, Guys.

    Not my cup of tea. Even spiked with whiskey. Just goofy. Wonderful musicianship, I get that. Technically great. But....I hated it.
