    I own a xpulse and my friend owns a Himalayan we always ride together and have rode for thousands of kilometers together we both have different bike for everyday commute and take our xpulse and himalyan only on long rides . So usually we give our bikes to get serviced at same time and my bill for xpulse would be around 700 to 900 rs whereas Himalayan would cost around 1500 to 2000 rs so maintenance wise xpulse is very economical

    Bhai, same experience with my 5 month more himalayan. It’s piston broke down within 5 month after already having a issue with its speedometer. Issues with high speeds over 110kms. Further pathetic service experience from Royal Enfield. They could arrange spare within 10 days.
    Rather go for xpulse which is more robust , reliable, economical and you will save money on fuel too. Xpulse is a no brainer
    Rather go fo

    As an Himalayan Owner from more then 2 years totally agree with you. Warranty mai parts change hote rehte ha you don't feel economical stress only mental . When warranty voids OMG its feel like i have more then 800cc Bike. Only out of warranty Owners know the level of stress..😭😭😭😭😭😭

    • @JoyeshKarmakar
      @JoyeshKarmakar Před 3 lety +1

      Fakira ji has said a line in this video, that is you need to set mindset. Right now you are not happy with parts change and parts price, because you are still having that mindset of lower cc bikes. If you compare Himalayan with its actual contenders like bmw g310, kawasaki versys, vstorms then you will feel that price of service and parts are very cheap.
      I am not defending Himalayan, it has reliability issue, it face more wear and tear issue than other lower cc bikes. But over the period of time the bike has fixed most of the issues. I have a 2019 model which i rode 22k + kms. I have only faced one issue, that is the infamous coneset problem.
      In my college days i used to go day tripping with my father's hero splendor (2002 model) when it was already more than 10yrs old. That bike made me so happy. That i got into this biking craze. Now for the Himalayan i have changed rear tyre once .. 3300rs.. changed chain set .. 3300 rs. Changed coneset 4 times. Another coneset change is due. I don't know how much i have paid for petrol in last two years. But i have this mindset, that premium machine will take its premium. I am more than happy with my Himalayan. It gave me lots of good memories and lots of pain (rear tyre puncture 6 times in 2 yrs).
      My father is no more, but i still maintain and ride my fathers splendor when i go to my hometown. At the avg of 25kmph it makes me happy. But now if i whine that Himalayan does not have good mileage after riding the splendor, i will be the stupid one.

      @@JoyeshKarmakar bro I have dominar also. From 3 year not a single time it’s engine gave me problem. Himalayan engine head cover open 5 times. And whole engine head changed 1 time. Tstem bearing nothing have to do with high or low CC bikes . Changed 4 times. I am not talking about chain or tyres bro I am talking about parts . Which meant to be strong at least 3 years minimum.

      @@JoyeshKarmakar you have no idea how much I am taking care of my bike . After fed up from RE service centre. I did all most everything regarding service my own . Oil change i started change at home. Tstem bearing also changed at home this time. Throttle body cleaned at home. I am not comparing this bike with bmw or tiger bro. I am talking about quality or products quality after sales services

    Mileage reported by company - 32km
    15x32=480km
    Aur gire se gire halat mai agar 20 ka bhi mileage dega toh 300 km toh chalega hi, 17-18 bhi diya toh 250km+ chalega.

    In fact, both Hero X-Pulse and RE Himalayan bikes are off-road, but they are very different in terms of engine capacity, other features and price. Both bikes are great. There is an option of these two bikes in the market and I think it is more convenient to choose the bike according to the budget and need.

    I would disagree on gel pants, I have done cycling 50 km without gel pants n it's painful but done 400 km continuous ride on cycle with gel pants n it helps, I guess same is case with motorcycle get seats

    • @i.am.roushan
      @i.am.roushan Před 3 lety

      In cycling it does matter, because your glutes constantly changes position and the friction on normal seat can be unpleasant. So gel comes handy in cycling. But in bikes even if you place gel your glutes are gonna be stationary and gel doesn't give much advantage there!

    Mera bike xpulse 200 9 baar puncture hua.. only rear tyre.. Maine main stand optional lagwa liya hai from hero and while travel I keep 2 spanner size 22 and 19 (please check with mechanic for exact size) and tube from ceat for 120/80-18. Any time during puncture I just remove the wheel and do not carry the whole bike. I also have air pump from decathlon but I don't carry it because I can't remove tyre from its rim and reput them like repair guys. It needs strength. But for that you just need straight rod with flat end. And then you are invincible.
