@craigmorgan4676 Eddie has claimed he had 550kg in the tank when he pulled the 500 though, so need a 551kg.
@@Pilkie101 I understand that Eddie mentioned having 550 kg in the tank when he lifted the 500 kg, but considering he almost died in that event, it's unlikely he could lift 550 kg, not even in his dreams.
I recall the drama of Eddie calling out Thor for not training hard enough. But it seems like Thor has shown us through his time boxing, the powerlifting, and now the return to strongman that he not only trains hard enough but is one of the most versatile athletes ever.
With his potential he definitely was slacking at some point
The dude is such a monster it's a wonder how he doesn't hold any record imaginable
But now he seems to be on point and has a good team behind him, possible to catch up, and he definitely isn't slacking this time

Eddie is a bad mouthed guy. The way he behaved during the boxing tournament prep time, completely put me off.
Strongman is a sport where athletes respect each other. Eddie even edited a video do as to make Hafthor look bad, where he increased the delay he put his hand up for shaking it.
For such reasons I do not like Eddie Hall anymore. He was a good strongman. I used to like him when he used to compete amd even after that.
I'm really happy that Thor is more active on CZcams. It allows people to see the real Thor, not the phony image that was pushed by his childish enemy.
Thor is a really cool guy, and his fan base is getting huge! Brian and Thor are my favorite strongmen...

Thor 8 months after surgery and far from full recovery for his pressing ability placing 4th on the ASC against such a line up still amazes me. This man is going to demolish his own deadlift WR, make Eddie cry a third time doing it, and we're all going to be here enjoying the show.

@@mihaelvukovic797 First was the 501 deadlift under more strict rules than Eddie did and with the weights actually being weighed by reputable people (Magnus Ver Magnusson), and the second time was when he beat him to a pulp in boxing and made Eddie get a tattoo that said ''Thor World's Strongest Man'' on his body.

He barely spoke English and probably had some social anxiety around so many people and not knowing how to communicate. People don’t talk about him because what he did is undisputed and any real strongman fan, and athlete knows what an insane athlete he was. Meanwhile fan bois flock to Eddie as he does childish time and time again because of two records he held. The WSM title didn’t belong to him in 17 and if Colin Bryce wasn’t the ref we would have seen a much different outcome

Costco is a regular size grocery for Hafthor.
I do a monthly Costco trip in Canada. For two adults that cook a lot, we spend around $600-800 Canadian. It's way more cost effective than supermarkets though, especially for stuff we eat a LOT of.
we live in alaska, costco is a lifesaver for food here too
Just keep in mind that food you bought is mostly poison. Food in Iceland is more expensive for a reason.
