Some people are saying why would u drive 4 hours just to let Ricky drive and not gonna anything in return. Perrsonally think it's an honour going on the channel. I used to have an R53 Cooper S (the supercharged one) I stuck a reduced pulley on the car (£120) and an Airtec intercooler (£300) and it used to out pull my friends S2000 and could take corners at a greater speed as well....

Can you get a Scirocco R on the channel? Neither you or TR HAMZA have done one yet, owned one since summer and I want an outside opinion on what they're like. 280bhp front wheel drive, better than a GTI but down on the Golf R which everyone goes for and forgets about the Scirocco 👍

Real rivel is the JCW, it's a lot cheaper so can get coils cage fmic map wheels brakes the lot for under the cost of getting into a jp2 and enjoy cruse control and shit! Cool car tho

Minis have the best styling for a hatchback look really aggressive with the challenge kit and diffusers and gwing. Problem is the engines are chocolate made by Peugeot N14/ revised bmw N18 engine it's bound to blow up unless it's forged mapped well decoked catcams and timing chain and oil levels are topped up The new f56 is half decent because it uses the 2.0 turbo bmw engine b48 but still very poor performance from 2.0 turbo 192bhp and 220ish in JCW model when the golf r is pushing 310 standard. If mini put a decent 300 350bhp engine as standard in the JCW or the gp it would be worth buying.
F56 2.0 BMW engines also suffer from weak pistons. Mines blew up not long, had to get it rebuilt.

But the f56 remaps to 310bhp and then paired with the fact it’s lighter than a golf r and gti it shits all over them in the handling department
Not a fan of them wheels!!!🤮 You don’t buy a mini if you want out and out performance, you buy a mini for it’s fun factor!!! Good car to throw around twisty roads and have a laugh with. Golf R boys need to stop slating everybody else.. they are good but they ain’t the be all and end all!!!

I have a mini JCW. For this guy I reccomend the AEM intake to use the scoop. IT's A MUST. (rather than just a panel)
I only made 4.5hp more compared to the ITG panel filter, but the looks and noise 👌

Underrated cars- the synthetic Pops would irritate me & the dash/binnacles really aren’t my cup of tea but can’t fault how they drive. Doesn’t seem overly usable in the damp however🤭
