Couldn't agree more. I once photographed the home of Tracy Smith. She's the anchor at CBS Sunday Mornings that has the honor of interviewing the celebrity guests. I chatted with her, asking her about the people she interviewed and asked her if she ever interviewed Will. She quickly replied yes and said he does not disappoint, he's real and definitely one of her favorite interviews.

After nearly 10 years, I finally started a podcast a few months ago. The amount of encouragement I’ve received from people is practically zero. No follow up, asking how is it going. Nothing. I’ve been growing this whole time, though and pretty soon there will be no doubt.
So glad I watched this, I am a victim of wanting to do something but something is holding me back from doing so, I feel like a lot of people are this way aswell

All you need to chase your dreams is be athletically mentally fit, so to speak. But remember, if you are always focused on chasing your dreams, you might never catch them. Embrace your dreams, firmly , instead of chasing them. Mark the difference.
I really needed that. Nobody really warns you when you’re entering adulthood how psychotic, narcissistic, insecure and predatory people can be to be an obstacle for your goals, often times it’s the people you trusted most who sabotage you.
Wise words. For some of us it’s also a lonely journey without any support at all from anyone; we can only rely on the abstract fact that others have done something similar and succeeded.
Thats why i created my non profit. To make it less abstract. I totally feel you.... it is extremely inspirational motivating and empowering it's still a bit abstract it's so hard to listen to these famous people who've gotten theirs and you're still there ...or anyone at this matter of fact who has climbed out it's always going to be abstract unless you see somebody actually doing it they always wait until it's all over and then tell you you could do it too.. Then you here the story with all these amazing people and mentors they had to support them in it ..lol It looks even more abstract I love that word abstract LOL When they tell you you can do do it to after revealing all of the support they had to get through it themselves Its because you can It's hard to do do it , abstractly, but you can do it not to fear life is much like that abstract art and not everybody will understand it's a ways and attributes except for the one who created it LOL I don't know you but you got this and I'm responding cuz I totally get it and I wanted you to know that you're not alone. Will Smith, you have made my life better and I will be forever grateful and you will probably never know about it. Now I am almost ready for the next step. I worked on myself, and I will do as you once said from the heart: ''If you are not making someone else's life better, you are wasting your time''. That hit home for me, I will try to live up to that amazing advice.
It's about where you're at. When you're starting out, the odds are overwhelmingly against you. As you work on yourself and position yourself better, the odds will improve significantly.
I feel like I hang on every word that he says. He makes you feel like ..YOU CAN DO IT..JUST DO IT with love for yourself. ..Patience . And its ok to go it alone. In fact it can be necessary. Thank you

Yes. He is right about it being lonely, scary, and risky (dangerous). The Lord have been putting His people aside to transform them into who He created them to be. But we must walk by faith in God, and not move by sight.
From the moment I first saw him pounding on the front door of Uncle Phil's mansion in the pilot for Fresh Prince, I've been hooked by him. He's like the older brother I never had but always wanted. Other than my own father, I cannot think of anyone else who I have looked up to more in my life. The problem is, I didn't start taking Will's advice until 3 years ago. My greatest takeaway from Will is that you cannot seek validation, you are the only one who could validate who you are. That and, "if it aint broke... Don't try to fix it." half kidding on that, I'm pretty sure he did not coin that phrase. However, my favorite quote, "If you are absent in my struggle, don't expect to be present in my success..."

I vibe with improving people's lives, we need to remember that nature and its beings are alive too and that their lives also deserve to me improved. And also we should be circumspect as to what it means to improve someone's life, I don't think its necessarily always economic, expanding someone's comfort zone is not the same as improving their lives. Of course everyone deserves their needs met and a good wage, I also support UBI, but I think improving someone's life goes much deeper than just economic welfare I think we should be focusing on level of mental health rather than level of material accumulation and comforts.
