Josh West who wrote the article for this hand-on questioned the state of the game but never mentioned that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is developed by a Ukrainian video game developer. obviously there is going to be issues since the company was originally based in Kyiv, Ukraine, but was forced to delay development indefinitely after the Russian invasion in February 2022. now the company is temporarily based in Prague. the war could have resulted in employees to fighting for their country, killed in atracks and relocating. Never once does this writer mention these hardships. Redicolous.

@@nimanp-cy4rh chernobyl is a Russian pronunciation, chornobyl is a Ukrainian pronunciation. 2nd one is actually correct, because the game's setting is in Ukraine and stalker games were made by Ukrainians

Rough around the edge? Worried about the state? Baby it’s a whole war in Ukraine right now. It’s amazing that they’re even doing this.
Hopefully it's one of those games that actually succeeds. It's pretty rare nowadays. It looks so beautiful and how is everything I want in a survival game. Plus with modding support it's going to be incredible.
P.S. I've already made a War of the worlds tripod in blender that I've already animated and I'm planning on putting in the game as a mod..❤

Given that they have changed their target audience compared to the first game, it is quite likely that we should expect this unfortunate event.

@@firescream2528 Previously, the game was aimed at an audience from the former CIS countries, but now it targets Western European and American audiences, where the gaming industry has completely different standards. I don't mean the gameplay; I mean the trends.
