Turns out Hellkite Dragon's fire attack on the bridge didn't kill you because
1) you weren't blocking, which would've given you more chip damage before getting knocked down.
2) you weren't running, which would've made you take counter damage from the fire.

Btw when using a Transient Curse (or no Curse) the ghosts ignore your armour. That's why they hurt so much. If you're actually cursed this doesn't happen.

Honestly (besides the editing continuing to go in leaps and bounds) the thing that I'm taking away from this video is that there's a blue filter for being underwater in DS1. Despite the fact we never go underwater. I wonder if it was planned?

Only thing I would do differently is upgrade and use that black knight shield for the huge stability bonus over using grass shield. Wouldn't work well for a challenge guide like this though because it's random.
