Well, he did get one answer correct, at 10:14 (Muhammad Ali & boxing). Also got the answer at 11:18 (doorbell) correct. I'm fairly certain he got at least two or three others correct as well.
So annoying when certain players say "Bank" EVERY SINGLE TIME it comes around to them -- even when the person immediately before them got the question wrong. Why go on a show if you have no clue how to play?!?
Let's say Phil and Paul get the same # of correct answers, whomever banked the most was the strongest player. Banking makes you stronger, but I agree it's often used incorrectly as a crutch.

I think if you’re trying to win the money it’s best to vote out some of the strongest throughout the game, that way if you make it to the final round you’ll have a better chance against one of the weaker links

The fact that they both couldn’t vote each other off at final 3 and voted off the strongest link which was Greg made this entire episode stupid. Regret watching it.
What killed this show in US was constantly moving it around the week to different times. Then after ratings softened, replacing regular players with constant special editions. It also didn't help that Sept 11 happened during its run leading to preemptions.
