This video we attempt to break switching regulators, or buck regulators.. We will look at reverse polarity, transient load dump effect, thermal response, and short circuit response of this IC. By stressing the circuit to the max, we gain a deeper understanding of its functions and limitations of this device. This helps improve our understanding of the hardware and improve implementation.
