Error!!! DJI Mavic Mini Won’t Take Off - Correct Propeller Replacement Issue

- Here is a quick tip on changing your mavic mini propellers. During my last trip I was cold and quickly replaced a propeller. Not paying attention I had that propeller on the wrong arm. I kept getting an error signal and my drone would not take off. After getting home I realized I had the propellers on the wrong arm. There are notches on the arms and the propellers to properly align the propellers to the correct arm.

After I corrected this issue my drone was up and flying like nothing was wrong.

I had similar challenges with my Mini 2. With the help of this video I just fixed mine about an 1:30 minutes ago. It was straight to the point and I didn’t have to watch the video again.

Just fired up my DJI mini one and about a year ago I broke the left front propeller just bought some new ones put it back on there and I had no lift and my DJI would fall forward. So just watch this video and I noticed that two propellers were not matching properly so I have everything matching up correctly and I’m going to try it and see if it solves my issue. I’ll let you know! #ProblemSolve thank you for your video and your advice. It fixed my DJI one mini and it. It also prevented me from wasting money at a drone repair shop.!

Hey bro, just like most other people. For real you probably saved me a lot of money. I searched everywhere on the internet and was trying to factory reset my drone. I talked to a DJI tech and he didn’t know. Thank you. Now all I have to do is get another set of blades.
I have this same error. Checked my drone for the propeller marks and found it to be mismatched. Fixed this, will try flying tomorrow as it's night now, and I live in a no fly zone. But thanks dude. I think that was the problem. My drone wasn't lifting one arm. ❤

Yes, that's a lesson you want to learn sooner than later. I agree with the DJI brand props if money isn't an issue, but I do use aftermarket props and have had no issues with them, DJI (Amazon) props are $12 for only 4 props and you need 8, and my aftermarket props where only $15, and I have enough to change all of them 3 times. I actually flew out over a lake and a storm came through and had very high winds to the point I was getting payload mode enabled warning (didn't even know it could do that) and prop errors and that (DJI mini 2 se) little son of a gun still came back to me straight as an arrow, I did fly it around (low altitude) for a bit just to make sure and it was fine! Just always make sure you check the prop screws before every flight. Always use the new screws that comes with your props because they will have the needed loctite on them and the ones you just took off will have removed the loctite and are no good anymore. one last thing, go and get yourself (I bought) a small 5" Phillips #0 screwdriver, and you should never have an issue with stripping the screw heads. 🚁

Had this issue today . I had the propellers with the 1 and 2 lines mixed up. Didn’t know that notch on the arms meant that. I was just about to set up a service request with dji. Thank you !

Still flies with the aftermarket wings I got. They had good reviews so they worked. However, installing just one propeller upside down made it not fly. It will still fly with slightly damaged propellers. Thanks for the video!

Maaaan this was a quick fix!! Mine wouldn’t take off, no errors at all but the propellers were on the wrong arms…….. but now I have another issue, I played your propeller drinking game and now that got the thing flying I completely broke it after a few propeller shots ….. 😞😞😞

For those that don’t know if you get a message or error while flying and it goes away all you have to do is replay your flight and the message will pop up on the screen where the drone encountered the error.
