Can someone tell me what is the main drive behind closing all of these trails? Is someone proving that there is some negative environmental impact? Why do we have to fight so hard to keep open what has been open for years?
It's a checklist of environmental eco-babble, "minimum danger that", "maximum danger this" - it's following the blueprint of how they closed down most of Arizona in the 2000s. Meanwhile, they will continue to unmark reserved lands for housing and commercial construction, where all of a sudden the technicalities don't matter. It's gov't being gov't 🤷♂
The difficult part is I have never been to the San Rafael swell area BUT I plan to visit it some day when my kids are older. Just because I haven't had the fortune to ride there yet doesn't mean that opportunity should be denied to me or future generations. I would leave a general comment but you're telling us not to. I can't speak about the individual trails so how can I advocate for alternate plan D if I've never been there. The requirements placed by the BLM are too strenuous.
Yes it’s all part of the agenda. Did you know they tried to put land like this and other natural park areas on the New York Stock Exchange so basically Black rock and all of them can buy up all the land and water resources so they can do their 15 minutes cities and block us from nature.
Hey Rocky Mountain! Why didn’t you guys come out and support Phil Lyman? You could’ve done a lot in endorsing his campaign. Now you’ve got the RINO’s RINO governor that could care less about keeping trails open! The Cox Sucker hates the off-road community. Thanks for your help.

Because the government needs to free up money to house, feed, and employ the millions of illegals they've let in the last 4 years.
