It's so disheartening to hear they don't give these to employees anymore. As a worker, receiving or winning an item like this would only incentivize me and reinforce my love and appreciation for the brand. I hope they bring this back for their team.

I used to work for a water nonprofit so naturally I got a lot of free water bottles. And not the cheap kind. Actual nice water bottle brands that I'd have to shell out money for in the store. Usually they were branded of course but I didn't care. It's nothing amazing compared to LV swag but it was still a solid thing. I had so many water bottles I gave them away to my friends and family.

Have just discovered your channel, and really enjoying it! I also used to work in high end retail before going to law school, so this has been a trip down memory lane! I worked for a department store (I'm not in the US, but similar sort of thing to Bloomingdales and the like), and then for Swarovski. My favourite thing was keeping the marketing materials haha, had so many cool signs and things from different designers, and a very cool little Moschino mini chest that I use for jewellery. I mainly worked in the shoe department and got a few pairs of shoes that were written off for minor defects, one pair was Armani, so that was a great score! At Swarovski we had a really good staff discount, and would occasionally get free jewellery, although it was usually the ugly stuff that didn't sell lol. God I do not miss retail though!
I use silk scarves for putting over my head after i do my hair to put on a top. Keeps the hair from getting frizzy or damaged, esp if you did your hair for a special occasion and there is product in it. OR i also fold them like a bandana and then use them as a headband (think Blair Waldorf lol)
I worked for a luxury chocolate store for 2 semesters while in college. We could eat all of the left over chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas at the end of the day. We also could eat and take home any imperfect pieces of chocolate. After that, I can no longer enjoy low quality chocolate. I worked part-time for a major fashion retail store, we didn't get free merch but the employee discount of 40% on designer and high end brands was highly appreciated here.

There were also a lot of contests by the vendors that my counter won and back in the 90's I won a Channel handbag. We also won lots of money contests and also went to a lot of events for new fragrances that came out. I got to meet Oscar de la Renta and Bob Mackie which I have photos of them with me also in the picture. I have lots of fond memories. I last worked this job in Dec 2017 and that was a part time job and now I only work my full time job which I always had. You received a lof of nice LV items.

I worked at PUMA 9 years ago and still have so many shoes that are untouched. Not sure if they still have the same allotment system but every quarter, employees were given 2 pairs of shoes and 4 tops, on top of getting 75% off full price items and 45% on sale items. I never really wore them but always picked the most expensive items for my allotment every 3 months LOL.

Im in college and work with kids as my major is early childhood education. So some parents of the kids I work will occasionally give us gift cards. And my bosses will do the same. Also this past Christmas season, we were able to choose a Christmas ornament my boss bought for us.
I just purchased my first Louis Vuitton bag, the Keepall Badoulière 55, it does not fit inside my dust jacket when stuffed with bubble wrap to maintain its shape. A LV sales associate said that the bag doesn’t need to be stuffed to maintain its shape but I don’t want the canvas to crack or crease over time, should I keep it stuffed so it’ll fit in the dust bag?
I would not really say they were 'free'. You paid for them through your labour, as part of your remuneration. Certainly there may have been no cash involved, but they were earned in a 'big picture' way! Thank you for the video!
