I know that this is hella late but if you have the issue of the whole beat not playing or stoping after a few seconds, all you have to do is zoom out from the line with instrumental on it to expand the length of that track allowing it to play the whole length. So you’d just kinda zoom out like how you would on a GPS. Hope this helps ✨

For everyone asking about why it’s grey and won’t work, make sure you download it as an mp3 and not mp4. I noticed that’s why it wasn’t working for me. Hope this helps someone ❤️

Kushamphetamine actually scratch that, worked it out. Before you drag the file into garage band, click the plus sign in the top right corner, then change the number of bars to a higher number like 100 or something, then try drag the file in. That way it’ll be able to fit the whole song👌

B just make your bars/timeline longer then split where the track repeats itself and cut of the repeated part. Then pull forward on the track till it has the whole song
