I don't know if this issue is within the scope of this series; but some information about investing in companies that deals in riba. To me it seems to be haraam, because then you become a partner in everything they do including paying or taking riba. This would rule out 95% of stock market investments. I haven't seen any classical evidence for the view that 5% of riba is allowed, it just seems like a stretch to me. So at this point, what choice do we have to prevent inflation from eating away our savings?

I suggest the halal financing options vs. The haram, the differences between them and how people can achieve such financing.

Another topic: competition, what is permitted what is not. I imagine we do a lot of impermissible acts of competition. Being aware would help.
