Something you showed in your stream by accident is that the start up of goku black's ki blast can actually parry basic ki attacks which is quite useful since it doesn't stop yours from coming out and you can still combo and punish off of their active frames or recovery frames.
3:45 Yep even you do a down heavy, you can track the opponent with the Instant Transmission to make more combos.

Lmaooo. I loved both Xenoverse entires, this game is MUCH better though, love the side by side fighting and not having to deal with a janky ass camera.

Sometimes it's better to listen closely.. Max would've made better videos if he actually had a copy of the game. But as he said several times, almost all of his breakdown videos were from a bandai namco event he was invited to. That means he didn't have much time to lab things..
These TGN videos on the other hand are coming from a review copy, where he could put more time into.
Just enjoy the video and don't compare things.. Both did their best with the tools/options they had to their disposal!
Don't make excuses for him. Tools and resources aside, TGN Anime doing far better breakdowns anyways. Max's stuff is pretty decent enough for the time he put into them true, but don't sound like you have to put down TGN anime either though. Time and effort in labs doesn't equal up skills being factored in here however! Even with the time, Max isn't a "Lab" kind of fighting game player with any fighting game?, sorry but its true!

If an opponent uses their level 3 super at the same time as you and their level 3 is a beam, the beam gets priority. This is if you are using Goku black.

It’s a good game great graphics my current team is 18, Frieza & Black but once you learn how to play with one character you basically know them all

I know everyone says that auto combs do less damage but the Triangle Auto combos with the super don't seem to do that bad of damage.
It's not bad at all, but the thing about using traditional combos is since they employ more normals you build a lot more meter from doing them. They also give you more opportunity to weave in your assists to extend them further, making them more powerful, more stylish, and more flexible.
I think the auto combo is great for allowing people of all experiences to be able to enjoy the game and perform competently at it, and I really appreciate characters whose auto combo gives them unique attacks or characteristics, such as Beerus' cross up, but it's in anyone's best interest to learn how to combo traditionally if they want to get good at the game. Traditional combos aren't even that hard either, it's just combing attacks from light, to medium, to heavy, and then super.
About the using normals to build meter. I found out you can abuse auto combos a bit to do that. You probably already know this but I found out you can use the square auto combo for the first two hits then transition to the full triangle combo and you'll get two extra hits in. But it's just everyone on gamefaqs made it seem like you do 50% less damage if you use auto combos and that seems like an exaggeration. They legit made it seem like you inherently do less damage with auto combos compared to doing real combos.
I mean, the combos I was watching on Nakkiel and SonicFox's stream were doing at least 12-15 normals before using a super, and that's if they didn't use assists or vanishes. Auto combos, even with the extra 2 hits of from square, will only do 5-7 hits.
I think people exaggerate the difference in damage. I think you're able to kill most opponents in 5 or so auto combo strings, where you only need 3 using traditional combos without assists. But there is still a noticeable difference.
If you use the triangle auto combo or atleast with black you can kill in 3 combos without assists. But you do use 1 meter though for each combo.

Alright, so...
I really like this game. Allot. Sadly, i played the betas and found out that i'm completly trash at it, no matter who i play or what i do. But even so, i still want to buy it. Is it worth it, knowing that i would struggle and eventually (i doubt it) get better? Or should i just drop it?
Note: I usually pick up on fighting games and just games in general in less than 2 days, this isn't the case however. I genuinely believe that i won't get better.

Regular Goku, SSJ Blue Goku and Goku Black. and there are rumors of a "Saiya-jin Saga" Goku thats for DLC coming? Hope all the in-game Goku variations stop here. We have enough of him. Would also like to see; "Nail" (Freeza Saga) be an alternate switch for Piccolo? Or Android 17 being a character palette swap for Android 18, Uub (with voiceover for his moves and cutscenes) for Kid Buu etc's. Hopefully the game's going to definitely feature other variants of several different DBZ characters besides Goku!

Does uub have stretchy limbs like buu? I only watched dbz but I learned about buu through the dragonball budukai 3 game for the ps3, so I know about buu and stuff. It didn’t seem like he had stretchy arms in the game tho

Yeah people claim Black is OP. No he isnt. He has some tools to help him but they are far from OP. If you come up against a good black player, he's just simply good. Unlike 16 or Cell. Cell definitely is broken and has an answer to everything whether he's on defense or offense.

The game is a joke of a fighting game. You either combo some1 to oblivion, or you get combo'ed to oblivion. There are no other options, because you or the opponent are constantly stunned and can't even block properly nor swap characters if the other person knows what they are doing. Even most of the pro matches look this way. The only window you get in here is when an enemy makes a mistake. Goku Black is shining example of a character than can literally take your whole character out with jump cancelling-blinking-ending with super. GR8!
Pete Cuban Learn you can guard, counter, and guard swap. But I agree sometimes they just combo you to hell and trap you in a corner with no way out lol
