We have made this video to address a common problem that a lot of guitarists face. Changing humidity effects wood because of its Hygroscopic Nature and honestly there is nothing we can do about the humid air around us. The only way is to invest in Dehumidifying options and protect your precious instruments.
High Humidity also leads to neck block shifting, sound hold collapse, and Cracks in Bridge plate.
Very Low humidity also leads in small cracks on Solid Top Guitars due to extreme dryness. However these reasons were difficult to explain in Video and can be detected by experienced technicians only.
Disclaimer
Low quality Guitars including the Yamaha Guitars below 10k are now facing Belly bulging because of thinner tops being used to accommodate cost of production. So humidity isn't the only reason pertaining to this issue here. Many Guitars face frequent neck Warp because of inferior quality of Truss Rods as well. This is the reason we have always advised and encouraged to buy good quality instruments so that less wastages are produced when instruments end up unplayable. With Conscious buying we always contribute less thrash to this planet.

My guitar is uplift from bridge. I checked through scale. I have yamaha f280. What should i do. Please do something usefull. Threast rode is ok. Strings are always detune after using guitar
Any humidity issue is self corrected when kept in correct humidity 40 to 60 humidity. But it all depends unless damage gets to structural parts.
man here in the Philippines it's always high humidity, already had 2 acoustic guitars with belly bulge now I am looking at semi-hollow guitars

6 yr old a beautiful Kadence Hardwood semi acoustic got belly buldged.. Technician told nothing can be done.. It still sounds great bt I struggle as I go up on frets.. How can i fix it..

Would you recommend keeping the guitar in a hard case when one is not using the guitar? Will it prevent the damage due to humidity change?
Hard case is definitely the best way to protect your Guitar. However, Hard case itself wouldn't prevent any effects of humidity on the guitar as the air inside the case is already trapped. Boveda packets inside the case will make a great difference.

Sir truss of guitar is stuck not moving it gets slip when I try to adjust what to do.....what will be the reason.....
Unfortunately there is no remedy that you can do at home for this. Please take it to a trusted luthier.
Thank you for the info . I have an Alvarez AG60 and live in a high humidity environment. The Guitar has acquired a belly bulge of around 4 mm behind the saddle raising the action & making it difficult to play on the high B & E strings.
What would you suggest to lower the bulge ?
Detune the guitar fully and keep it in the case along with absorbers like boveda gel for about a week. That should lower it.
You can also store the guitar(detuned) in a room with air conditioning for a while. That helps too.

My guitar is bit bulged from back side what should I do ? Does it matter much?
A slight Back bulge is a normal construction.
It’s not a defect.
I generally play guitar daily, however I need to Store my guitar for a month in my gig bag. I live in Rajasthan. What would you recommend? As it gets dry in may and june... And then it gets quite humid in monsoon season especially with coolers running. Would really appreciate your response.
A two way humidification system like the boveda packs will be beneficial for your kind of varying humidity.

You wouldn't need that. Just the packets are fine enough.

Or do I need hard case?
The hard case will be much more effective for sure. But a good padded case also should help.
Storing in a cool dry place will also help. Like any air conditioned room at home.
