Im watching this in 2023 and watching these girls mask up and sanitizers in pockets all their lives. And we all complain that we as a nation had to wear one during covid-19. And one of reasons we needed to mask up was to protect kids like these. How can we healthy ppl complain after seeing how these girls need to miss out inschool, birthday parties etc. God bless this family 🙏❤

I am so with you. I am tired of so many selfish people out there. Who have no idea how hard/sad to care for a child that has a serious health issue.

Yahoo News reported that in 2009, Chuck and Terri Cerda were chosen for the show. In her show application, Terri shared that she and their two daughters suffered from severe immunodeficiency diseases, causing them to have to wear masks at all times. The Cerdas were given a massive home complete with high-quality air ventilation systems, but the story didn't end there.
When the family was unable to afford the utility bills, they sold the house and moved. When the family connected with new doctors in Oregon, the medical team questioned the family's diagnoses. Thomas Valvano, an OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital pediatrician who specializes in suspected child abuse and neglect, reported his concerns to child welfare offices, and the girls were actually removed from the Cerdas' home. Valvano told the court the daughters were not chronically ill and had been the victims of "medical child abuse."

As😁 ALWAYS AMAZING! Now the girls can lead a much better future! The pool wow! Every room was as if the family had told the what they wanted! It's just matched there personality! If that makes sense?plus ALL the downstairs colours just all! Marched perfectly with each other in the colours and all accessories! One the best episodes I've seen!& What the mother has done to put smiles on the poor children's hospital faces& selling her home made flutes for poorly children too ASWELL. As home schooling them, who us this woman... superwoman! As I said! Imy totally;so immensely moved by all that were involved in any way! ❤❤

Unfortunately they aren't in the house now and the girls were removed from their care on accusations of medical abuse. It seems they might have fabricated a lot of it to get chosen. You can find information online, but sadly they don't sound like great people.

So true what wall art does for children I had leukemia as a child and the hospital I was in luckily had walt disney characters drawn on the walls. Doesn't sound like much but when you're hooked up to IV's and taking treatment these pictures would be the last thing I would see before drifting off to sleep.

Please don't jump down my neck ok! I'm addicted to this show! BUT I have to say this is the most UGLY home I've seen throughout EVERY season! When they done the " move that bus" we all 7 of us! What the, that's UGLY,what was Ty thinking of! Etc etc etc.. however the family are amazing, the poor little beautiful girls didn't seem to let there illnesses bother them& what the mum does is from the heart too! If you watch this again, the parents reactions seem false too! As one of us is professionally trained on people's body language etc he said the same! It is a UGLY HOUSE! BOTH OUTSIDE & INSIDE,THE BEST AREA WAS THE POOL,! WE DO HOPE THE GIRLS HEALTH ILLNESS GETS BETTER WITH THE ADDED THINGS THAT WERE INSTALLED! & THEY LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER! AS I SAID GUYS,DOINT PLEASE,BITE MY HEAD OFF! IM/ WE ARE ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS,LIKE MANY OTHERS THAT GO EVEN MUCH WORSE! THAN WHAT WERE SAYING!!

They must avoid confined spaces with people. The resort activities were outdoors in the clean air far from other people who might have a contagious illness. Their immune system can't even cope catching the common cold.

You should google them. The kids were taken into protective custody for a while on accusations of medical abuse. They aren't in the house now and supposedly when they moved, new doctors said they didn't see any signs the girls had the illness they claimed they had. I can't find more information than that, but it appears they might have been fabricating the story that got them chosen.

@@Nath20245 I can find information on an investigation and the children being temporarily taken into care and then returned to the parents as they had hundreds of medical documents to prove the children's illness, but nothing about them being charged.
The investigation was started by people not believing the girls were sick because when they saw them they looked like perfectly happy and healthy children.
If you saw me standing next to my car you would also assume that I am a fit and healthy man, but I am not, until you see me use my cane to get to the back of the car to unload my wheelchair you might think (as someone did and they reported me) I am faking it as I have a good smile and great attitude and you just saw me walk 10 ft so therefore if I can walk 10ft I must be faking it.
Not all Disabilities are Visible and you only see disabled people out and about when we are having GOOD days, you never see us on the bad days because we can't go out.
