one thing people miss out when reviewing the Accord touring is that all the windows are dual pane, which is rare in its class. Usually only see that in luxury cars.
Is this feature limited to Touring trim?
@@greggost6493 i beleive so, same thing with the CRV sport touring (only trim level that has it).
Most cars are going to laminated side glass instead of tempered
I am 6‘7“ tall and fit comfortably in the Honda hybrid touring model. I love the new Bose Soundsystem!
I just purchased it today, it will be delivered properly Monday
❤ loved your video just got myself one, absolutely love it, thank you 🙏🏽
My son just bought this exact vehicle and absolutley loves it! I am also very impressed with the handling, acceleration, comfort, and overall feeling of quality in this car. Believe it or not, its also quieter than my Lexus RX 350 on the highway. All around, a really impressive car. Thanks for the great video!
i can't find any videos that talk about the "EV mode" e.g. battery only... is it for a few miles or just to get out of the neighborhood.
Panoramic Sunroof is too hot in summer time. I prefer regular, single sunroof. I also pass by dealers who add dealer market adjustment addendums disguised as optional equipment. This is the fastest way to find yourself upside down on financing your vehicles!
There's a spare tire kit available from the dealer. Tire, jack, everything you need. There's the usual threaded mounting bracket is already in the car, under the cheesy fix-a-flat holder. I checked! I told them no spare was an immediate deal killer and I wasn't kidding. Now to find a way to add satellite radio.
Wife just bought one. Overall, love it. Only knock I had was seats could have been more plush. Will be fine around town, but wonder how they’ll feel on a road trip. Also, no home link for garage door. Thought that was odd. It’s Meteorite Gray Metallic and takes on a beautiful hint of blue under certain light conditions.
Hello. Would you please give your assessment of the Bose systems that comes with the Touring Honda. Enough power?…enough bass?
6'3" tall, 280lbs and I'm comfortable with seat down all the way. More room than the Toyota Camry and mostly due to the seat travel and leg room.
Bought the entire spare tire/jack kit for my 2024 Accord Touring. It’s from the lower trim non hybrid gas Accord. Fits perfectly in the trunk as it’s made for the same vehicle.
Thank you for sharing!
Nice. How much did all that run you? I have a 2023 Accord LX ( base model ). I’m thinking of keeping my spare tire, jack and all at the house, and trade my base model in for this Touring model. That way I can just throw my spare from my base model in the trunk of this Hybrid and still have a spare! 😂😂
Hi, Tom. Nice video! Can you elaborate on the comment you made about the 12.3" touchscreen being the largest you can get in any Honda vehicle "at the current moment as far as what's available" and how "that's going to change in the coming months" means? Is this about the upcoming CarPlay update that supports multiple displays, including the main/original display behind the steering wheel? Specifically, is the Accord Hybrid Touring getting that update? Would the currently available model be upgradeable? Thanks!
I was wondering the exact same thing.
I've had mine around 3 months. Love it. My only complaint is the lack of satellite radio capability in the audio system. I have to run my XMradio off my phone in Apple CarPlay.
I have this car, GREAT daily driver
I'm 6' tall and have just test driven a 2024. I can get in and out of the car without hitting my head ... as long as the seat is all the way down ... where I normally have it.
Nice color.
Just got one and it looks so sharp. One thing I wasn’t expecting is the loud angel noise the car emits when rolling in D or R. I know it has to do that since those are EV only cases but louder than I expected. R is twice as loud as D. Sweet car though!
Congratulations on your purchase and thank you for taking the time to share.
"Loud angel noise"? Can you elaborate?
@@Emale2000 It sounds like you’re ascending to heaven. It’s pleasant but a little too loud imo.
@@Emale2000 it's an up pitching whine
Others elsewhere attribute this noise to power inverter..which is easiest to hear at rolling speeds
Hey Tom! How does the new Accord compare to the new CR-Vs ride quality? Is it just as smooth?
Hey Jeff! The CR-V wins out on smoother ride quality. The Accord is not bad but the CR-V is the better of the two.
Wish the longer turn signal lights were on all the trims and not just the Touring.
Lol😂
I think both Honda and Toyota are taking a more Hybrid engine for all there cars for those who need more gas mileage. It would great if they would also keep those who what’s more power and sport in the class would be a a true welcome for everyone. Both the 2025 Camry and Accord will be great daily commuters for sure.
You don’t need a lot of power in these kind of vehicles. They have plenty for what they are.
2022 10th gen 2.0T touring with 10 speed auto is the best Accord. Luckily I bought one, just in time!
You made a great choice!
My 2019 2.0T was rear-ended and totalled. Only 21,000 miles. Best car I've ever had and I'm 67! It's depressing that the 2.0 turbo is no longer available.
It's nice but Honda did cut a lot of corners. My 10th gen has lighting in the interior door handles at night. Also, it seems like a novelty feature, but the light ring around the climate control buttons turn from white to blue or red in the 10th gen models, depending on if you're increasing or decreasing the temperature in the cabin. The new one doesn't have that feature unfortunately.
Just drove test one yesterday and for some reason the engine is underperformed for some reason. Maybe it's the hybrid and was making that hybrid transition etc. Overall, everything is good but doesn't mater how hard I press on the gas paddle it won't take off.
The Touring is on my short list for my new car.
While I like the wheels, the fact is that the tiny sidewall makes it ride rough. Go with a model that has different wheels if that’s an issue for you.
You can buy the spare tire insert and kit with through Honda accessory. Considered when I purchased mine. However my last Honda I had for 8 years I never used the spare…
You have the Touring as well??? How u like it if so??? Test driving one tomorrow
@@I_amrob707what did you think?
@@muny_man Bought it and absolutely love it!!!!!
@@I_amrob707 Awesome! I love everything about it, I just wish the top trim got a panoramic moonroof and 360 cameras. But other than that, it seems to have everything anyone would want in a car. Hopefully I can afford one soon 😂
Thanks for passing this info along! I told the dealer today that not having a spare tire was an absolute deal killer. We checked, and under the foam fix kit holder is a threaded fixture for a spare tire kit as a dealer add-on. Prospective buyers need to know this!
Flock it, CRV 2024 Hybrid Sport Touring is the best 👍🏻👍🏻
You mentioned that the 12.3 " is what's standard right now and you alluded to a different size in the future. Please elaborate on what is going to happen to that screen. Thanks.
This would be great if it had a turbo 4 or a V6 and 10sp trans.
I saw this on a Local dealer here in Chicago for 38,000USD
I’m 6’5 would I fit in this car i want it so baddddd 😩😩
Yes it's the best I have a 2024 Honda Accord hybrid touring fully equipped no Dount but 2025 probably be better
I just bought a 24 accord touring last night
Congratulations on your purchase!
@@VehicleVisionary thank you, I really love it. Thanks for the great video
All the 24 accord touring hybrids are having a problem with the recirculating blower motor. And the part is on backorder .. mine included
no 360 camera ? damn thats a shame
it 's a nice lookin car as long as it's not compared to the 10gen sport, that's a sexy masterpiece. bought my 21' sonic grey 2.0 sport (1st in the bronx) dec. 2. 2020. 8mos later the dealer tried to buy it back, and been tryin ever since 😂
Did the dealer make you a good offer to buy it back?
@@hilalhussein7062 they offered 27k but i owed 30k. vroom, an online dealer was on some vintage crack, they offered 12k 🤣. autonation gave me the best offer, 33k
They want to lowball you on the trade to get you into another car. Nobody's buying this gen....I've barely seen but a couple in my travels.
If only this color and those rims were available on a non-hybrid option.
No SiriusXM?
Aw man no heated steering on this one even though it's the highest trim. Maybe next year.
Yes it does. Heated and ventilated in the front and heated in the back.
No spare.... no biggy.)))
I think honda needs to stay in hybrid market unless it has swappable batteries
they dropped the ball on this acdord the looks frrom 2018-2022 are so beautiful and they need an AWD accord why did they get rid of the push buttons from drive to park to neutral
People complained about the push buttons.
That front end is a little disappointing. It feels like a step back compared to the modern squared off front ends seen on other cars.
For $40k and have to manually fold the mirrors?!?! Hell no
It's a Honda. Not an Acura.
just one more thing to go wrong, and it's not even essential
I totally agree with most people, the body looks fine but those taillights look extremely cheap what a downgrade
The tail lights look amazing compared to last gen stapler lights
@ bravesnipz
As a die hard Totonto Raptors fan i love the 10th generation Accord tail lights... better.
All i see is Raptor logo
Crocodile mouth.
👍
Time to switch to Acura 😢
They don't even have this color in their inventory. All they have is white, red and gray.
Cost about 39k msrp but has the same camera as my 23 ex while the Kia ex base model has more features with wireless charging and birds 🐦 eye and 360 camera angles etc. I love the honda and looks but idk 🤷♂️ i definitely go for a toyota next time has more features on the corolla then a accord shame on you honda stop being cheap anc charge a fortune.
No spare.... no biggy. 😅
very older
😢 I miss the stick shifts
no more push button shifters???!!! who told Honda to take it out??😥
😅It looks like a police cruiser!
LOL I won't be able to unsee that now! 😂
Looks like a Kia K5……
The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved.
Less features for more money sounds like a win
Spare tire is a deal breaker
The 2025 Camry has ALL of those features
Honda made in Marysville, Ohio. Toyota made in Japan.
@@9546aw dude toyota got 7 manufacturing plants in the u.s 🤣
The leather upholstery looks poorly tailored in the back seat.
When it comes to Hybrids, Toyota is the leader. I would avoid Honda or Hyundai. These companies don't have the 20 years of building hybrids like Toyota with the first Prius released in 2002
Toyota supplies the hybrid systems to Honda, Hyundai virtually all Hybrids use the Toyota systems
Rather not have a sunroof at all
Me either. The sun burns my head.
Neither do I. Everything is so cheap now. Nowadays, I read about so many people who have had their sunroof explode or shatter while driving. It’s just another thing to worry about, maintenance wise, eventually.
Looks like a Chevy impala
I wanna add the hybrid touring handa accord little bit more horsepower. 2.0 engine. 300 hp. Just a little bit later. Too much a little bit. Faster. At least touring. 4.5 seconds. 0 to 60. They’ll be nice if the I’ll be nice the door knob, Luminate. All 4 door and change colors. 😂. On the base model. Touring
Don’t buy a hybrid if you’re not willing to pay 8 grand or more if the battery 🪫 gets damaged.
Yep, people don't ask that question about the cost to replace it till they need it. BIG SHOCK then !!
Don't the sunlight in the sun. Thats a no no. Cloudy yes
Wait until Sonata shows up.!
I'm not a Hyundai or Kia fan but anything from those companies are better than this.
Ewwww
10gen accord put sonata outta business 🤣
Things I don't like about the new Accord:
1. No spare tire and jack
2. Leather available only in the Hybrid models
3. Cloth seat material in lower trims looks like it came out of a 3rd Gen Camaro IROC-Z
4. The only other powertrain: A puny overworked 1.5 turbo engine with a troublesome history of head gasket failures in the previous generation.
5. With the Hybrid, Honda has shut out the DIY maintenance.
6. No fog lights
that front grill is so unbearable to look at
@8:03 you have cute little feet in black sneakers ❤
Yes, they're only size 10. 😂
Helpful, but that was a dumbass question on the sunroof. Why do you think someone would rather have a panoramic sunroof? Derrrr 🤪
Cool car but incredibly boring to drivr
Disappointed with the new Accord's look. Seems big, ugly, boring and stupid looking compared to the 2021's sleek style. I was hoping for something even cooler this year, but it's just not there. Plus, it's expensive! I am extremely disappointed...!
If you expect me to pay $2800 for that add-on nonsense I promise you will not get my business.
they need a woman touch to the interior
Test drove them, super slow /sluggish. Cheap low tech interior. Boring librarian /human resource manager mobile. Ripoff pricing, markups!
Honda like Toyota, emotionless underpowered sleep at the wheel expensive slabs of crap!
I'd prefer the new Camry
I wish it wasn’t so ugly 😢
Boring 🥱 😑
