Avraham Gileadi was born in the Netherlands during World War II. During the war, his father’s Dutch underground organization helped a New Zealand pilot escape to England. This led to the family emigrating to New Zealand in 1950. In 1968, Avraham Gileadi emigrated to Israel, where he learned Hebrew, attended rabbinical school and studied Jewish analytical methods. In 1973, he moved to the United States, married and raised a family of nine children.
Avraham graduated with a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Studies under the tutelage of Professor Roland. K. Harrison of Wycliffe College, Toronto, Canada, with Professor Hugh Nibley as chairman. For his doctoral thesis (“A Bifid Division of the Book of Isaiah.” Diss., Brigham Young University, 1981), he analyzed a complex literary structure in the Book of Isaiah that radically impacts the book’s interpretation. Avraham and his wife live in Sequim, WA.

I remember Avraham when he stayed in Dargaville New Zealand and was attending my branch when I was a child (early 2000s), my dad would invite him to our home and he gifted us his book isaiah decoded. I'm so glad to see him on your podcast, much love from the Retimana whanau 💓

So a couple of years ago, things got weird. Visions of past and future and other such things. Then one night I looked up and asked " who am I?" A visitor appeared from a portal. Golden breast plate, burgundy tunic underneath that ended above the knees, pale like an albino, white hair, glowing, eyes shining like stars. He replied "David, you are a son of God", and then vanished in a flash. Then I had a snake eyed demon connect telepathically. He quickly disconnected but it felt horrible so I asked for assistance. Had a quick flash of golden warrior angels diving down through darkness; then I saw his head grabbed from behind and a sword cut it off. A few weeks ago I had a quick flash of my visitor. He was crouched down behind a barricade with his sword drawn in what looked like a ruined city. This barbarian like fellow (nephilim probably), was trying to get at him and then they both stopped, turned their heads and looked at me. There are several serpent bloodline at my work; they are all telepathic and we "spoke". They are all very nervous.
My full name in gematria stated "The name of a direct male descendant of King David".
A gifted lady said she saw Jesus standing next to my bed smiling at me as I slept.
Another gifted lady said I have apostle energy and was at the crucifixion; my middle name is John.
Do I understand Dr. Gileadi correctly that those who don't agree with his interpretation are those who refuse to search it out, lack understanding, and are hypocritical? And that we cannot turn to the prophets or rely on them to gain understanding of Isaiah? But we are to rely on him? I hope that isn't true. I learned through long and sad experience to always look to the prophets, the Scriptures and the Holy Ghost for understanding and not to scholars because the opinions of scholars are the arm of flesh.
Isn't their a missing child from Arizona thought to be a davidic servant?
They found him safe. His mom is bat crap crazy and believes the kid is but the kid wants nothing to do with her craziness.
I would like to understand how this teaching of the Davidic servant reconciles with the understanding that He is Christ, as evidenced by the Chapter heading of Jeremiah 30 in the Church edition of the Scriptures:

In the last days, Judah and Israel will be gathered to their own lands-David, their king (the Messiah), will reign over them.
I know the headings aren't Scripture but I would like to understand how the heading, which was written either by or under the direction of the spostles and First Presidency, contains such an error? This is a sincere question. I'm not seeking to contend or discredit the trachings presented just to understand how this is reconciled.

Can you explain why the Isaiah scrolls found at Qumran match the Bible and not the BOM The scrolls are much older than the BOM.
Isaiah 29:10 -13 is different than 2 nephi 27:8-24 Approx 16 verses were added in the BOM that are not in the scrolls or in the Bible. Neither the Isaiah scrolls nor the Bible mention what is in 2 nephi 27:8-24. Why is that since the Isaiah scrolls are older.
Also the Lords Prayer in the BOM is different than the Bible and omits several important lines- Like thy Kingdom come. Jesus’ kingdom does not come until his second coming. Also omitted is give me this day my daily bread - Jesus was symbolized in the manna and the bread of presence and in our sacrament as he is the bread of life. Please explain these additions in 2 Nephi 27 and omissions in 3rd nephi 13.
Oh Well, the Vatigan is hiding 16 books of the Bible so what is 16 verses? I sure would like to see those hidden books.
Is it possible that John the beloved is the Davidic servant who will come as the forerunner to the saviour and lead the ten lost tribes on their return?

The way you describe him is exactly how Islamic prophecies and dreams and visions of end time that Muslims are seeing so much of describe The Mahdi known as the Divinely Guided and Hidden Servant. He is Elijah. I have watched so nuch of what people say in the comments or what you say and that is exactly how the Mahdi is described. Even dreams say that he is LIKE Moses. The Islamic prophecies point that The Mahdi will appear to prepare the world the the Messiah and will rule with an Iron rod and call people to believe in the God of Abraham. @@GazelemTheServant777 I say this because the intelligence to create this Internet did so for the revelation to be seen by the world. The binary code 1010's is how words are typed. To show himself he can use this by means of communicating. He also must see all before he speaks. Judgement upon wicked and none untouched. Mathematics is his and the language of the Creator is in math and measures. The davidic servant must perform the signs miracles and wonders needed to fulfill the prophecy. I can show you something.

I personally don't believe in the Davidic servant interpretation, but I can respect other people's decisions to interpret the text that way. That said, I would offer a strong warning about Isaiah study groups. They are full of apostasy. If you don't believe me, go to one of those groups and just ask the question "Is Russell M. Nelson a prophet of God?" Watch how people respond to that question. Friends, please be careful and exercise spiritual discernment.

I've been part of Isaiah study groups for a couple of years with the Isaiah Institute and my experience has been very positive and faith building. I have not once seen any apostates in my groups. The groups have been individuals who love the Gospel of Jesus Christ who study things out for themselves and question things for deeper meanings (Isaiah has that effect), seeking inspiration from the Lord. Yes, President Russell M Nelson is a Prophet of God.
Most of the discussion groups are from active members of the church. We only study the scriptures but respect people with different opinions. "Full of Apostasy" is such a strong accusation that I hope you ponder about those words because it is a lie, and everything comes back in life. I'm in charge of our Book Discussion Programs, and I sustain President Nelson as the only person authorized to exercise all priesthood keys. But that doesn't take away from the problems and stumbling blocks that are among God's people (2 Ne 26:20), if you can't handle a conversation about the scriptures, then run with any narrative you want, but be careful by creating false statements just because you disagree with them.

Actually, I watched a documentary and there are and have been several people claiming to be Christ.
Funny this is there are messianic christlike figures all through history - even before the Jesus Christ figure of the Bible came around. Why could that be?

I know what the testimony of the two witnesses will be, rather soon too imo. If anyone cares to know, I've posted my first two videos explaining their testimony. I also explain the witness/prophet like Moses in greater detail. I do not however support the LDS church, they have a false prophet and false doctrines surrounding the book of Mormon. God bless

In recent weeks reports of Christ appearing in the sky (sometimes with angels) over Israel and Gaza have been repeated.
The reports indicate thousands of people have witnessed such visions.
It is so sad that so many peoole will believe they have seen Christ, when in fact they will have likely seen an AI image.... or perhaps an ANTICHRIST...
The scriptures are clear the Davidic Servant is Yeshua. Notice how he is not showing the scriptures for the Davidic Servant and expounding them.

If Jesue Christ came among us as a prophet, do you think he would be excommunicated. When I was young, I thought Bruce R M. who was a great teacher (I read all his books over and over) and I thought could never be wrong, and he taught that a coming David was a harissa and a false doctrine.

I know of no people who do preach craft in our day better than our leaders. Are they rich? Do they wear $150 dollar suits? Are they like Mosiah who labored with his strength to provide for himself and his family? I love the church and are leaders are amazing men, but are they the men who are the humble followers of Christ?
