    1. Dalai Lama Mandir:
    One of the most historic and peaceful places in Himachal, the Dalai Lama temple is one destination every Himachal tourism guide will recommend. Covered by Buddhist prayer flags and wheels along the way, the temple emanates vibes of compassion and tranquility. The place is filled with praying
    Lamas and tourists are allowed to join their prayers, spin the wheel and touch and take in the monument. If you’re lucky, you can even catch a glimpse of his Holy Highness the Dalai Lama when he is in McLeodGanj. The temple is easily accessible on foot and vehicle from the mall road, McLeodGanj and is a must-visit for historians, those seeking an inner self, photographers and solo travelers.

    2. Bagsunag Mandir:
    Bhagsunag Temple is a 5100 year old Hindu abode on the slopes of the picturesque Dhauladhar range in the village Bhagsu, some 2 kms from McLeod Ganj.
    A major earthquake in 1905 destroyed much of this age old temple as also the Kangra valley and the British garrison. With that calamity, the rulers of India, the Brits changed their plans of making Dharamsala their summer capital, choosing instead another nearby hill-station, Shimla. Even as that decision was made, the legendary 1815 raised battalion Gurkha Light Infantry which became the 1st Gurkha Rifles rebuilt the town and temple.
    3. Bagsunag Waterfall:
    Scenic 20-m. waterfall located 1 km. from Bhagsunag temple, along a trail lined with street cafes. Bhagsu is also the home of 1st Gorkha Rifles (The Malaun Regiment). ... Bhagsu is named after the Bhagsunag templecurrently in McLeodGanj station including Bhagsu itself but also as Dharamshala, McLeodGanj and ForsythGanj.

    4. Dal Lake:
    The lake is surrounded by deodar trees and is considered to be a sacred spot as there is small Shiva mandir (shrine) on its bank. There are different kinds of fish that live in this lake. The lake has greenish water. This lake is situated near Rikkarmar on Balan Dhar. There is also a temple dedicated to 'Lord Driveshwar' built by sage Agastya. This is also known as "Bhagsunag Lake".
    5. Naddi:
    Naddi View Point - Perfect location to view massive Dhauladhar Range at such a close distance, no walking or trekking involved, no more stress on knees! , The view is subjected to weather. It's mostly cloudy at this point. Enjoy food bites in cafes around with serene beauty of the Himalyas at stone throwing distance.
