AMAZING ANNUAL SALMON RUN ON THE CREDIT RIVER...!

- If you live in the Mississauga Ontario area.....here is something interesting to see in late Sept and October. You can view the Chinook and Atlantic salmon swimming upstream on the Credit river in the annual Salmon run! They are returning to where they were hatched in order to spawn....after they spawn most of them die. It is believed that they find their way back to where they were hatched using the earth's magnetic field and/or their sense of smell for the particular river they came from. There are many rivers with a salmon run but the Credit river is local for me.....the exact location is in the video. Hope you enjoy it and have a chance to check it out!!!!!
I used to go bridge jumping here in the 90's looks so different now.

I never tried to fish there maybe when borders open up but any ways I do bass and trout fishing so a little bit of step up noeone watch’s me though because I am a kid 😂

Credit River, read the regs,theres rules for every section.open all year DOWNSTREAM from 403 usually.always check the regs!!!!!
Yep it legal from late april to 30 sept then theres all year round fishing

We gotta start taking it to the poachers. be vigilant
Police can take poaching complaints,and may act faster than ministry.it is definitely worth trying to report poachers!!!!!!!!
0% of Chinook Salmon survive after they spawn. They ALL die, and none return to the lake...
