I received one with this exact problem packaging has no padding in the ends so the second someone drops one of the tubes on end the momentum of the interior components buckles the lower sections .. not sure about the design but would be nice to know what eh exact dimensions of each section should bee so I can repair it myself

Это называется коллениарные элементы. Нижние погнуты....подровняйте их. Витая проволока-это фазосдвигающие катушки между элементами. Антенна хорошошая. Но любые коллениары нужно дорабатывать по разным мелочам, если вы не знали. И тогда она 100 лет простоит и ей ничего не будет. Ваш вопрос: What inside ? так и остается открытым или вы поняли где собака порылась и кто есть "ху"...?!

The device you put it with doesnt give it enough power to give out all the 15dbi. e.g: I have one wifi adapter and I pluged it in and I still get the same thing ir worse than that.

Finaly im lave it and back to Omni 10 dbi because my old 10 dbi is better than this 15dbi. I make test, install on my roof car little WiFi antena,and drive to feew the same pleaces 500m something about 1,3 km,(open space - village) and compare signal strength on on my AccesPoint and ofcourse notebook with instal inSSIDer.

I found Ben Dover's Original Lube inside mine
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
One of the spool/or some of them are not align properly. fix it ... don't push to hard when inserting back the antenna into the tube. My friend has the same antenna, it has good quality. The form of the spools are better then yours.

looks like the weight of the combined sections are putting too much strain on the bottom sections...:( bad design!

I did not know there was any other than radio controll rc could stand for.. But do you know how far 18 dbi will give in miles ore meter??
tykenminator It depends on the transmitter power and antenna used in the model.
If this is omnidirectional antenna, 18 dBi, the range will be up to a maximum 2 - 3 km
If you think of a better ranges, use a directional antenna
Oki. I have seen one guy used a flat directional antenna on the front of the controller. I was thinking about 2watts for the signal amplifier. How much dbi should i buy? and how far do you think it will go? I believe i have to have 2 antennas. One for rc and one for wifi. I realy want it to go as far as possible. Thanks for answering me on this. very much. My goal is to be able to fly from inside the house. And have a live feed to a 46 inch flat tv. I want to be able to fly up the mountain and film. If it could go to space that would be nice to:-) Not that i am gonna do it..
tykenminator You have a nice plan, but the biggest problem in this case will be probably battery. I understand that you want fly to the mountains with FPV using Your galaxy visitor 6 ?

HOY 3 años de tu comentario me uno a tu sentimiento por ella. esta ves fue a mi. que antenas usas ahora? la mia comenzo bien pero de la nada perdió la fuerza. pense que era el bullet pero la pinche antena sin estar rota estaba full de agua por dentro y se destruyó osea se sulfato y se ummm daño
Me sumo, años después, claro sigue siendo para mi una pésima antena. Tiene más alcance la pequeñas de 5 o 7dbi de los otros equipos desmontables.
