    What tool did you use to reset the airbag module? Did you have to replace seatbelt, buckle and tensioner too?

    Where did you get the replacement socket? I have the same problem sort of on a 2017 Cruze I purchased for my wife, they replaced the steering wheel airbag but did not do the wiring, they just left the burnt socket in side.

      Hello Bryan. The 2017 Chevy Cruze LS has no Cruze control right from the factory. I know it is very frustrating that in 2017 they build Chevy Cruze and do not install cruise control in it. I tried to install Cruise control once a while back in a project car 2017 Cruze LS. I actually could not figure it out and my mechanic friend said it would cost few hundred dollars so I just gave up on that idea. So unfortunately I still do not know how to install Cruze Control on a 2017 Cruze. I think I will try to figure it out and make a video on it in the future.

    Question if the airbag is deployed can you just take the old one off and just put the new one in or you have to reset something?

    • @ayshakoundoul4778
      @ayshakoundoul4778 Před 3 lety

      The airbag light will still be on unless you change the airbag module which is in most cases located beneath the center console and reset it.

      No, I did not have to replace any of the modules. I simply reset the airbag restraint module with a scan tool.

      Hello there. Yes sure I can make one in the near future. Now let’s please clarify which airbag you are asking about. The passenger side has Dash Airbag, Passenger Knee Airbag, passenger seat airbag, passenger rear seat airbag, and passenger roof airbag. Which one of the passenger airbags do you want me to make a video about? I would appreciate your input. Thank you!

    Where you buy the plug???

    • @fixit3879
      @fixit3879  Před 5 lety

      I buy them from parts recyclers, junkyards. Sometimes the airbags come with the plugs and sometimes I have to buy them separately. You can also buy them from Chevy Dealerships for around $50-$60 more or less. That would come with the wires and plugs attached. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching. Let me know how it goes!
