Kinetic Art - Rolling Ball Sculpture: "Vezha"

Size: 14" wide x 19" deep x 38" tall
(36cm wide x 49cm deep x 97cm tall)
Vezha (tower) is a bit of a dream or perhaps somewhat of a fantasy. Running quickly, it's reminds you of controlled chaos with marbles running all different ways, grouping together and returning for another trip. Running slowly, it has a more meditative quality, as the marbles each know their own path and make their solo journeys as planned.
This sculpture would hold pride-of-place in many rooms and should be displayed so that a viewer can see it from at least 3 sides.
Stainless steel. 7/8" glass marbles. Recycled aluminum base. Runs with a 12v adapter for 100v-240v. Adjustable speed.

did you have problems with soldering? Did the half rings fit well or could they fall off in the process? I'm doing the same thing right now and I'm having problems.
