1. You took the Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing meme way seriously and it's hilarious
2. It's honestly impressive and satisfying
3. I love how you pick my favorite character, Luigi
did you notice there were harmonies playing here that weren't there before? it seems that dash panels have chords programmed for every song, so when ever you step on one it triggers that chord sound to play. if only someone made a mod to reveal the chords of every music track of the game, and documented the finding on tcrf.
3:00 is a great example of this, and once the star gets collected, it's just C notes.
and notice how in the beginning, comparing the chords heard in super bell hill's theme to super mario maker 2's dash panel blocks, they're just a general chord in smm2, but 3d world has all the chords.
That's a very interesting observation!
I think in this one, it's a dynamic effect, like a but of scripting magic listens for the current pitch of the music, and changes the pitch of the dash panel to match it

It really is, but this is all using dash panels. Dash panels can be set to negative duration which translates to infinite.

When I really kicked this channel into gear again at the start of 2021 (I have been making videos for 5 years but the old ones are unlisted because they don't fit this channel) I never expected to even hit 100 subscribers! As we speak we are getting closer to the halfway mark, but sadly all my projects are taking an absurd amount of time to make so it may be a few weeks before we get to the project in works for 3 months.
