If you're talking about vocal wise, then yes they might sound alike cause it's Daniel Tompkins who fronts for Tesseract. If you're talking about instrumentation, then yes, both bands use stringed instruments and drums. If you're talking about music styles, then you are just not digesting what you are hearing apparently. Both bands have their own unique sound with and without vocals. Especially if you are talking about older Tesseract like the Concealing Fate demos made several years ago.
