Having worked as a receptionist 40 years ago (yes I’m that old) I know how imperative that position is to a company. You are the FACE of the company and the First impression anyone gets whether it is through the door or on the phone. Your attitude can actually make or break a company. That’s why they are Extremely selective of whom they place there. Your bad day can’t show on your face at ANY time. That woman WAS A BAD DAY.

She had filed Everything under Mr. and Mrs. The last straw was, I came in and she was nowhere to be found. She was laying on the floor behind the desk because her back hurt. I've worked front desk before in a rotation of other office personnel and even had to take calls from customer accounts that I worked on I would tell them because I'm not at my regular desk that I would call them back as soon as I could after leaving the front desk. I can not tell you how many thanked me for returning their call after I had reviewed their account.

A receptionist is a much better position than a hostess at a restaurant.

"I am sure I'll be getting a call back". "You mean 2nd interview. Callbacks are for actors". I didn't actually know that. When I had minimum wage jobs, they would call me back later. When I found a career, they hired me on the spot, without needing a "callback"! 😂😅

I once inherited a receptionist when I was promoted at my job, who wouldn't even greet the customers, she would wait until they approached her.

Applicant: "Would have read it already..."
Me: Interview over! You don't dictate what I "should" have done! And tapping your fingers as if i'm wasting "your time?" NO!
Hostess isn't management, dear! And being a hostess isn't an 'essential' employee! And 'extensive experience' isn't in 6 months! You AIN'T THAT SPECIAL!
    Applicant: "Look..."
    Me: Interview over, round 2!
    Applicant: mini tantrum
    Me: Security!

This person has a very nasty attitude first of all. From being a server at a restaurant she's ready to move up and wants to be a manager. She thinks she's too good for any position but a manager. How rude is this person. I would never hire her. She's too obnoxious.

Great video but why is the audio of this video so low with the interviewer and the more professional interviewee toward the end of this video? I barely hear the interviewer and the more professional interviewee and only hear the rude, unprofessional interviewee clearly. I really hope all your future videos are not like this so I can hear all the cast members in your future videos clearly.

Helpless Hannah came not even ready for this interview. Better if Missy tries for ownership of a company and puts her hard earned money on the line. Start over. You may do better somewhere else. Give this another try in another place.
