‪@OpenAI‬ released a male voice for #chatgpt and it sounds a looooooot like ‪@VancityReynolds‬ . Not sure why they chose such an edge case as the example, but either way I would have preferred to have an #ai #assistant that sounds like Johnny Cash or Tom Waits.

the demo wasn't really trying to show an example of a necessarily realistic use case. there are many different demos. they're just trying to show how well the voice feature works, and that it's able to work well in all kinds of different context. and yes, i definitely want this. i do like to use chat gpt 4o for different things, and this will make it more enjoyable to communicate through speach
