Any bag that you put that much thought into purchasing and knowing all the details about is not a "ridiculous purchase" (I mean, unless you bought it instead of eating this month, which I don't think is the case!) Hi Tiffany, I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago when they became available to VIB members and I was really thinking "seriously? $35/ea.?!" BUT...they are stunning! I have Mood Exposure, Radiant Magenta and Diffused Heat. I am Latina, so I have tan skin and all 3 colors look nice. I will say that I used them with a regular synthetic brush at first but when I used my Hakuhodo brush, I swear...they look even better!
Thinking about getting the chanel bag for daughters college graduation so I'd love to hear more about bag

Please do a video on your new bag!! I just got a vintage (I believe from the 70's) one this Christmas from my future mother in law . I had no idea the gold could be retouched, nor do I truly know how to maintain the leather. I am so fortunate that she maintained mine very well. Seeing how you knowledgable you are with these bags, I would love for you to share any advice:). I am so happy for you!

I am completely obsessed with the Chanel double flap my mom gave to me. It was purchased in 2001, I think, so it definitely has the gold plating. Which is why I'm so scared to send my bag in to repair the leather strap because I've read horror stories of ppl just wanting to repair the strap or refresh their bag and the bag came back with a different chain!

I got the Ethereal Glow shade at Sephora last night. Don't know why but it stood out to me. It works as a good highlighter too. Just brightens up your face and makes your skin look smooth :)

If you don't watch josh collier check out his channel , he works for hourglass and he is very knowledgeable about hourglass and many other things . He recommended using the ambient powder to blend out the blush if you want a more diffused or blended look . I thought that was genius . I want diffused and maybe luminous blushes ?

That is a classic bag that you will have for-EVER! What a great score. There are some things worth investing in, for their quality, timelessness, and most importantly...how they make you feel. Look forward to the video! Oh, and I ordered that Diffused Heat as soon as I got the notice from Sephora that they were available. If I hadn't hit the Chanel Boutique earlier this week, may have gotten more than one, but I have spent a sick amount of money on cosmetics this month already.

I lot the holiday Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush pallet. I am MAC NC 37. I love my blushes, everyone was saying on U tube that these colors don't show up on tan skin. So glad I didn't listen
