Had a very very similar story with constant backstabbing and betrayal (believe me, rich or poor, people do it across classes when they are vapid and lack deeper meaning in their lives, it is the devil’s work). Allah (SWT) guided me towards grace, stronger boundaries now that devilish people resent and misjudge as “mean”, but grace nevertheless. I feel a lot more peace knowing Allah (SWT) has my back and will defend my honor and joy and peace no matter what people like that do. There is something bigger and more permanent than this dunya. Alhamdullilah for you my sister.

Salam bro. Is revert not convert why because we are born on the fitrah of Allah. But our parents makes us Christians, Jews, Sabeans and Muslims, but when we realised the truth of God through our personal discovery then we are reverted to God i.e Islam which means Submission to the will of one and only true Deity that's Allah. @@J-S.I That translation is manky at best. First of all, the bits between parentheses were added by the translators in an effort to make it somewhat better. There is no question of 'strength' or 'lightly' in the original text. Secondly, it speaks of men being the caretakers of women because Allah has made men excel over women. In other words, men are better than women.
More importantly, it tells men how to deal with women, their subordinates. Women have to obey, when the man expects disobedience from her, he is instructed to discipine her, as if she is a dog or a slave. This is bad, won't you agree?
