Just wanted to say to anyone out there not already using one that this is an absolute GAME CHANGER when it comes to periods. I forget I'm even on mine now because it's so comfortable in comparison to pads and tampons. A bit fiddly to use at first and I will confess to having a couple of accidents with leaking and spilling at first but once you've had a bit of practice it will liberate you.
@@TiVi_br87 December 2022, my first time using menstrual cups after doing research and watching a lot of videos about it. I tried it without my period since when I ordered mine, I was waiting for the month of Dec. I struggle to insert it, took me a lot of time, and when I figure how to insert it the right way, I am so happy. Videos here in CZcams really help me a lot. Every problem has a solution. I only got leak once on my second day trying Menstrual cup. I feel the leak after 6 hours of using the cup ( I am about to change it tho that time ) I found out, I didn't check it if it was fully open inside since I am confident on my first day (even sleep without a leak) I wear a panty liner for only two days, I didn't worry about leak since I make sure to feel the cups was open inside. You know that it was open when you insert your finger around the cup. I make sure to check how much blood I got in hours, so I will know next time when I should take it out.
@@Katherine_inthehouse hm, that was helpful, thank you for responding😁, Im still on the fence about trying it, but I want to. I have found ones with a loop instead of the stick part, and have had a certain one saved in my amazon cart lol. Just another random question but, can you feel it while you are sitting down or anything like that? Like if you sit a certain way do you notice its there?
@@TiVi_br87 At first, I thought I would feel it but I am surprised, even on the first time I inserted it. I feel nothing, so don't worry about it. I can still reach the end of the cup and it is not bothering me. But some women says that they feel the (stem? I don't know what they called it haha) So some of them cut it, but for me, it help me to fix and remove the cup, although, you'll remove it on the cup itself and pinch it, not on the stem (it will make a suction if it was open so it is better to pinch using two finger when you reach the cup.) It sounds hard but I get it on my first try, I just remember the advice of other women here on CZcams. I am glad I didn't give up trying it haha it is really a life changer.
When it gets filled the cup starts to slide down by itself because the weight lowers it, and then you just break the seal poking it or pinching it and then it slides out. Also there's no way it could go where you can't reach it. But the most important for new users is to feel relaxed and secure so, i hope one day you try it, is a life changer.
I didnt, almost passed out, and every time you need to take it out, you have to dig inside your own vagina..Its NOT fun. Its messy, it hurts like hell and yeah, theres the freak out.
Trust me a cup is the way to take back control when on your period . I been a pad user all my life and switched to a cup even though I had a scary 1st time thinking it was way too high and could not get it out I tried again and it was perfect. I gave away my pads and never want to see 1 again. What made me try after my horrible 1st experience was when I did get it put, no Leaks, no mess and no smell. Glad I tried again
I tried first time it went perfectly but while removing it took lot of time but every time insertion and removal is big process better pad is comfortable
@@swastidas7422 no you won't spill blood when getting the pad out. But the pad might leak if you wear it for a long time like 6-7 hours for small or medium pads. Although it depends on the pad size, absorption of pad and amount of blood releasing
I got my mensural cup 6 months ago Most of the time I Look at cup and ignore it's existence Or try to insert it for 30 minutes and starts crying in the bathroom
You totally should!! I’m only 16 and I’ve only had mine for about 4 cycles now. It takes a little bit of learning but it’s definitely better than anything else I’ve tried!
@@allifearnow5965 Yes defo a bit of learning, it took me one cycle before I could even get it inside properly and it took two tries to get the cup out without any pain. Its defo worth it though, I love my cup more then pads and I used to be a pad-only gal.
DO NOT TRY WHEN YOUR NOT ON YOUR PERIOD!! I did this. I added a little water and attempted to insert the cup but it was so painful and dry. I don’t recommend this cup if you’ve never stuck “things” up there.
@@vaninimishakavi9183when not on periods try using a lot of coconut oil and try different folds. Also try to relax and open up mentally. But if we use coconut oil during periods it will sometimes feel like it's leaking or it will slip out 😅 we have to be mentally relaxed and prepared. That's most important
If the stick is not inside it'll be uncomfortable it's not like the string on a tampon 😭 the cup won't go too high trust me, you can reach the stick easily
Thats me rn. I kept a lil bit of the stem outside so i could be content that it wont get lost. Yesterday it went up by itself and i panicked when i couldnt feel the stem. Tried it again today , just hop it doesnt go up again.
Just tried the Cora cup like literally 10 min ago. You have to be relaxed take some breaths and be gentle. The process can be a bit scary because it’s something new (at least for me. I just told myself a bunch of positive affirmations after and tried to slowly walk and get confortable moving around to gain more confidence. So far I feel like I need something softer and not as firm.
Carry a personal lubricant and a backup period product. These are fantastic products, and personal lubricant has been a saving grace in using them. And it's not weird. If we need lubricant for s*x, even with arousal already being a thing, then we definitely need it for cups. No shame in not wanting to give your vag microtears. And just because, SOMETIMES, the cup doesn't seal properly inside of you, its good to keep something else on hand in the event of an emergency. I have found that over some time, getting it to seal was easier and easier. Just make sure you're pinching the cup to release the seal before you pull it back out.
before I started using the cup, I used tampons for a year to get used to putting things inside. then like 5-6 cycles of using the cup before finally being comfortable with it. now 3 years in, it’s the best thing. saved money on pads & tampons too.
Not about the video itself since I'm a guy, but a tip to relax faster and more efficient is to inhale completely, wait about a second and inhale again. Then exhale, doing this a few times should make you calm and relaxed
It could probably be due to dryness, or the fold. Try the smallest fold you can make and also lube helps. I already have 2 years using it and some days you need extra moisture no matter the experience, and also i kept using the smallest fold cause is just more comfortable. Also you need to be relaxed and be patient and gentle.
When I got mine it said you could cut the stem if it was too long and that made a big difference in comfort for me. Shouldn't be painful though so maybe you're putting it in a bit early before your period has started properly? You can also try wetting it with water before putting it in ☺️
So here's my experience as a first time user, I have never put anything up my vagina so I was kind of freaking out but I managed to do it. Initially I couldn't really get it in as it was hurting really bad, i tried feeling the way with my finger and after an hour of trying all different angles i finally got it in. I did the punch down fold and pushed it at like 20 to 30 dgree from horizontal. It went in and i felt a pop and it wasn't leaking. I pushed it up just enough that the stem was just inside the vagina and not too up. When taking it out i was freaking out again as it wasn't coming out and i couldn't reach the base of the cup with my fingers. So i tugged the stem a little trying to get it down a bit before putting my fingers on the base and pinching it and slowly getting it out. One thing that helped was i tried to relax as much as possibe and was patient with the process. But unfortunately the next time I tried to put it in it went in super smoothly but i couldn't get it to open up completely. So i took it out and put it back inside a 2 to 3 times but couldn't do it and because of the friction it was hurting . So i gave up for today and used a pad. Will try it again tomorrow. Hope this helps anyone.
I was very afraid initially...but trust me it's very easy...you just have to figure out how's the path is tilted inside. Also, taking out was more tense for me...but it also came out to be easy... just know that the suction has to be broken.
Tampons are demons of dryness and suffering...i was a pad girl with no choice but then i tried the cup, it has no comparison with tapons. Cups are a learning curve but a life changer.
@@SpiceIsNice you should definitely consider it! I’m only 16 but I really like using it! In my opinion it’s better than anything else I’ve tried (aka just a pad) and it takes a little learning but definitely a good option!!
Do you have any advice on how to completely relax? I always struggle with this, it's difficult for me to insert the cup and my muscles are always tense when it's in, which causes discomfort. The only time everything went well was only when i drank a lil bit of alcohol lmao
Lmaoo I know what you mean about the alcohol but I would recommend trying a smaller cup (like a teen size) or a different menstrual product since these don’t work for everyone
Also if you feel it all the time it could be that is too tall for your cervix, try different brands or even you can try turn it inside out (it makes it shorter), i actually use mine like that cause even when i trimmed the stem i could steel feel it. And yeah relaxation is key, but now you already know that you can be confortable if you are able to relax, maybe try something tiring like doing chores and then a warm shower and then try the cup, and finally some dessert. You'll need that dessert to celebrate that you did it relaxed or you'll need it because of the struggle. Anyways after all that you did you'll deserve it lol
I personally just breathe a lot and just tell myself that everything will be fine and that I know what I'm doing. I also put on music or a youtuber that I like
I'd think being in the sitting position while trying to insert it would be the way you can be the most relaxed while your trying to do it thru you and as long as your trying to do it at the right angle got your body to be doing it thru you
Hey today is my 1st time using the cup and after having a very painful traumatizing experience with a tampon this one went quite well, I used lubricant and did not hurt me at all, I must say the sensation of it inside you is weird but not uncomfortable waiting to have it removed hopefully will go well too!
When I was switching to a menstrual cup, I was too scared about putting sth inside me, so I decided to use a tampon to get used to the feeling and process. And after using tampons for a few months, I finally switched to a cup.
I just found out you have to push the stem 😳, I just use it my last period and never push the stem, I used like I use a tampon. I wonder if this is why mine leak 🤔
I wanted to try it, I even watch helpful videos before buying a cup. I can't get it in, but I still didn't try it with lubricant so maybe, in my first period, I try it with lubricant. I can't afford to buy another cups.
For anyone struggling to relax at the idea of putting these in, try thinking of your crush, or think of something relaxing like a bubble bath, put on your favorite song. Anything but the thing you're trying to do. You can also try clenching like you're trying to stop peeing, so that you can get an idea of what each muscle does down there so to more easily control it. Kind of like progressive muscle relaxation from a meditation.
Pinch the bottom of the cup or stem, and gently and slowly take it out. You may need to release the suction by gently squeezing the sides a bit while removing it. Practice makes it a lot easier and faster
@@Charlotte.Equestrian it won't spill everywhere if you're careful, but just do it over the toilet and it will spill into the toilet(I've never used a cup or disc, but it's what everyone else says lol)
@@Charlotte.Equestrianyeah you do have to put your fingers in to get it out but not very deep. You could also pull it out by the stem and then work it out slowly by rocking it back and forth until it comes out enough to remove the rest. It naturally gets pushed out a bit from the way you sit on the toilet. Spills happen it its too full, if you pinch too hard towards the top, or if you tilt it sideways when you take it out. I've used mine for almost 9 years so I'm pretty good at keeping it level but spills do happen sometimes, but as long as its over the toilet (idk why it wouldnt be) youre ok
When I had to travel on a plane for a long time, I bought a bottle of water and kept it after it was empty. Before I went on another plane I went to the bathroom knowing it wouldn't be private. I filled the bottle with water from the sink and in the stall I washed my cup before I used it again so that I could be fresh before my next long flight.
Well you could talk to her about the benefits. How it will prevent any rashes pads might cause, how it’s more sustainable etc. but if you’re very young your vagina might not be ready for something to insert into it. I’m 18 and it still is uncomfortable for me to wear one.
You know even i was, She was against it and I just told her "I am gonna order because i will be comfortable with it, and it's my body and i only know how my body works, just pay :) " She didn't say anything but she paid my bill anyway lol- Later i told her everything in detail patiently and she understood..
Tell her that your friend uses it and how better it is than other options (best if you say that friend's name whom she always compares you with or tell you to be like 😆)
I educate my own mom about it. She's still having reaction everytime I say I am so much comfortable using this now. No waste, no more smell, no more uncomfortable sleep, no more rashes. How convenient it is, not worrying buying pads every month. Not worrying changing pads every two hours. And lastly, being comfortable to pee and poo.
This is my second time using the cup. Am 20yrs with no sex life. This is my experience and tips While inserting Make sure u have washed both cup and hands. 1. Sit in squat position, go with punchdown fold 2. Hold the cup at position at hole with ur right hand and push it in with ur left hand, and make sure u r pushing towards the end of spinal 3. Don't completely push it inside, push it till the stalk is completely present in ur finger, at this time around 80% will be in, slightly push it in by rotating. 4. Once u feel the complete cup( without stalk) is inside, leave it. U will hear or feel a pop. Cup pushes itself in by suction force. Don't try while u r not on ur periods. Use water as lubricant. It will be slightly painful for 1st time only.
i have to go swimming tmrw and i’m on my period and my mom won’t buy me one of these. i also tried putting in a tampon but it doesn’t work for me it’s way too painful. i really don’t know what to do 😭
Convince her or some aunt, believe me tampons are painful, i don't know how people use them, literally torture, i was able to use a cup after some learning and now it's the only thing i need, and above all if you are into sports this is your game, also seems that you are young so you can live your best life rn. Your mom might be hard to convince, maybe show her videos from this channel so she can be more informed and less fearful and also get serious and ask her to take you to the gynecologist, if you can't convince her the doctor might help.
The only problem with these and tampons for me is that having anything up there widening my vaginal walls while the walls are also contracting makes period cramps 1000x worse. Pads and period underwear for the win
19 y/o 2nd day of period (BLOODBATH) I've binged many of your guide videos and finally I tried today for the first time. I tried to do the punch down fold but it wasn't going in at all ! I feel like my cup is more on the firmer side because it tends to unfold real quick so I tried the double diamond fold. I almost got it inside, only the base and stem was left. I was in excruciating pain so I decided to get it out and give my walls some rest. My vagina doesn't hurt anymore but my lips does. I don't want to give up just yet. It'd be really appreciated if you can help me through this question 1. Can I gently screw the cup in ? 2. What shall I do when the cup unfolds before I insert all of it inside ? 3. Is it normal to experience pain to some degree while insertion or does it not hurt at all ? (I want to know this so that I know what's normal and what's not) 4. I could easily insert my middle finger up there with a little discomfort but I could insert 3/4 of my finger easily without feeling my cervix, I could have tried inserting it all but I got scared and got my bloody finger out, I did that to guide my cup but when I narrowed the diameter and tried to insert it in the same direction as my finger but that's exactly when I started to experience excruciating pain and had to get the entire thing out. I cannot pinpoint if it's my wall that's contracting or I reached the cervix.
I get some discomfort when putting it in but not pain, you might need a little bit of water based lubrication to get it in especially if your getting a lot of discomfort in your lips, you might also need a softer cup firmer cups are generally harder to get used to and if it's your first cup that's a pretty serious barrier to overcome I use a diva cup and it's been relatively easy personally if I get the cup almost all the way in and just a tiny bit is still out I will try to get it the rest of the way in but if half or more is still not in I will take it out completely and try again.
@@ashrowan2143 Thank you so much ! I had to switch to pads and it's either a red flood or nothing (and either way, extra pads are wasted) I will do some more research on this but I'm definitely switching to a softer cup
I tried it today! I'm 15, and a virgin, but I found that I didn't have any pain whatsoever inserting it! I used the labia fold and I guess I was just really relaxed. 9/10, still slightly anxious, but overall, a good first time.
@@we.stan.onedirection Hi! As for the experience, for me personally, it was honestly harder to get out rather than to get in. Something of note though: you probably have to be at least comfortable with digging two fingers up your vagina to use them. When you're good to go with that, you'll probably find using them is pretty easy. And don't make the mistake i did buying one too big for you? Because it's smooth insert, a physical battle to get out when it's too big and your hole is too itty bitty :,).

Wow…why did I not EVER hear about this before??? Little late now as I am gloriously past this ‘period’ in my life. BUT had I known about it, your darn right I woulda used it.
I was terrified about it too, I heard a lot of experiences where girls couldn't find the cup, but remember that this is internet and experiences where things go wrong receive more attention than experiences where things go fine. I have a high cervix, and even when I was nervous, removing my cup was really easy. Even high vaginas are only like 8 cm long, it's really weird not being able to find your cup or having difficulties removing it.

the first time I tried doing it, it didn't go exactly according to plan. When you notice it's not sitting right, try to squiggle your finger next to the cup, remove the vacuum seal and fold it slightly and only then pull it out!!! the first few times it can take a few tries before it sits nicely. but it's definitely worth it, don't give up!!
You squeeze the base this breaks the seal and then you can gently pull it out, sounds intimidating but it's actually easier than putting it in at least in my experience

I also tried mensuration cup first time I find it's difficult but then after that when I know the process how to insert mensuration cup and how to remove the I find it comfortable ❤️❤️
In my adaptation time I trimmed my nails the shortest I could... Now that I'm more used to it, the nails don't bother me... But my nails are never too long anyway 😅
I got itt thank you!! Im having a hard time twisting it bcuz of my nails but it unfolded bcause of the pinch thing.. it just pop open. Maybe i should prac a little bit more on my next cycle....
Can I ask? When you inserted the cup, the cup wasn’t fully opened, and you just pushed it all without making sure that the cup is 100 percent open or not. Is that okay like that? Or we should make sure that the cup is fully open inside?
So i use tampons at all times, make sure ur on ur period. If ur not on ur period its hard to get in. Maybe sure u put the tampon far enough in. The tampon string should be the only thing out. If ur using applicators its easier to get it farther in. If u put it in right u shouldnt be able to feel it. Good luck!

You would think it would be awful. But what's really awful is the painful dryness that comes from tampons and the diaper waddle that comes with pads (when you have a heavy flow you can't get away with those sporty little tissue paper pads) ... Plus the watertight seal means no smell gets out, and since there's no cotton, there's no strange odors wafting up when it comes time to change...
what's creepy about it...? if you use tampons, you do know that the tampon expands inside of you once inserted, right? assuming you're not a kid, hopefully you already know that most women aren't super duper tiny "down there"; you have ample space for a cup. if you're genuinely on the smaller side, many companies make smaller/mini sized cups. personally, i think cups are the most hygienic and safe option out of them all (pads, tampons, period underwear, etc). you sanitize the cup thoroughly before use, it's extremely effective when properly inserted and vacuum-sealed, and carries less risk of infection than pads/tampons. they're also WAY cheaper than constantly buying disposable period products. a large box of tampons for me was around $15 (which could probably last me for ~4 months max) and if we generously ignore the costs of extra products like night pads, pantyliners, etc... the cost of my saalt cup ($29) is already paid with two boxes of tampons. i'd highly encourage people to be open-minded about period cups if they want to at least save their money, instead of reacting childishly and remain ill-informed.
Dude it’s way better for your body and in my case it made my period less bad. The chemicals in pads and tampons are bad for you and are known for making your period worse.
@@aunibon Great for you if pads work for you, because no one is holding a gun to your head to try one! In fact, it's probably for the best if you love pad to never try a menstrual cup. After trying a cup, I have not been able to go back to the odor of decomposing blood and the constant feeling of wearing and changing a half-diaper. I didn't even notice how bad it was until I tried a cup.
Id think the cup would be very messy to be using and cleaning during our periods. That thought does not appeal toe at all thru it compared to tampons and pads I can just change and discard.
Can we use a pad over it just in case it spills accidentally for the first few occasions?
does it leak? or can you safely not wear a liner or pad with it in?
@@TiVi_br87 December 2022, my first time using menstrual cups after doing research and watching a lot of videos about it.
I tried it without my period since when I ordered mine, I was waiting for the month of Dec.
I struggle to insert it, took me a lot of time, and when I figure how to insert it the right way, I am so happy.
Videos here in CZcams really help me a lot. Every problem has a solution.
I only got leak once on my second day trying Menstrual cup. I feel the leak after 6 hours of using the cup ( I am about to change it tho that time )
I found out, I didn't check it if it was fully open inside since I am confident on my first day (even sleep without a leak)
I wear a panty liner for only two days, I didn't worry about leak since I make sure to feel the cups was open inside.
I don't know what they called it haha)
So some of them cut it, but for me, it help me to fix and remove the cup, although, you'll remove it on the cup itself and pinch it, not on the stem (it will make a suction if it was open so it is better to pinch using two finger when you reach the cup.)
It sounds hard but I get it on my first try, I just remember the advice of other women here on CZcams.
I am glad I didn't give up trying it haha it is really a life changer.
Im just scared that i wont be able to get it out
Right
When it gets filled the cup starts to slide down by itself because the weight lowers it, and then you just break the seal poking it or pinching it and then it slides out. Also there's no way it could go where you can't reach it. But the most important for new users is to feel relaxed and secure so, i hope one day you try it, is a life changer.
It slides right out! I’m only 16 and I can use it! It takes a little learning but it’s definitely better than pads in my opinion

Thats me rn. I kept a lil bit of the stem outside so i could be content that it wont get lost. Yesterday it went up by itself and i panicked when i couldnt feel the stem. Tried it again today , just hop it doesnt go up again.
I can not use cups. I am just too tense. I struggle getting them to open up and I also struggle removing them. Menstrual discs work so well for me.
Thank you
I tried it's just too painful or won't go all the way in as it should. This is inspite of trying the teen size.
Any tips would be helpful
It could probably be due to dryness, or the fold. Try the smallest fold you can make and also lube helps. I already have 2 years using it and some days you need extra moisture no matter the experience, and also i kept using the smallest fold cause is just more comfortable. Also you need to be relaxed and be patient and gentle.
When I got mine it said you could cut the stem if it was too long and that made a big difference in comfort for me. Shouldn't be painful though so maybe you're putting it in a bit early before your period has started properly? You can also try wetting it with water before putting it in ☺️
if you have a septate hymen or the hymen opening is simply not the 'typical' size then that may be the cause of the pain. something to consider maybe
You could try it during a hot shower to relax your muscles 🤔
Correct very informative
Watching from dubai
I can't even hold a tampon without freaking out so I'm not doing this #padlife
Tampons are demons of dryness and suffering...i was a pad girl with no choice but then i tried the cup, it has no comparison with tapons. Cups are a learning curve but a life changer.
@@marunekochannel you know what I'll think about it kinda sounds scary tbh but possible

Lol I'm the same
Do you have any advice on how to completely relax?
I also put on music or a youtuber that I like
Think about kissing a person you have a crush on, might help lol
I really want to replace pads with a cup but just the thought of it gives me anxiety.
Sammee, especially because I'm a virgin with a seemingly strong hymen, but I want to use a cup so badly that I'm ready to go outside my comfort zone
You got it!!! Getting a cup was the absolute best decision I made, they make periods so easy!
Guys if you want something sustainable but are afraid to try with cups maybe give the menstrual panties a shot? They're great too 😊
I wanted to try it, I even watch helpful videos before buying a cup.
How on earth do you remove it though? At least with tampons, there’s a string
Pinch the bottom of the cup or stem, and gently and slowly take it out. You may need to release the suction by gently squeezing the sides a bit while removing it. Practice makes it a lot easier and faster

This is my second time using the cup. Am 20yrs with no sex life. This is my experience and tips
While inserting
Make sure u have washed both cup and hands.
1. Sit in squat position, go with punchdown fold
2. Hold the cup at position at hole with ur right hand and push it in with ur left hand, and make sure u r pushing towards the end of spinal
May I know the brand that you use?

The only problem with these and tampons for me is that having anything up there widening my vaginal walls while the walls are also contracting makes period cramps 1000x worse. Pads and period underwear for the win
I usually have to run a finger around the cup, rotating it until it expands properly.
Even I feel that pain during vedio😂
I tried it for the first time yesterday and it is AMAAAAZING!!!! Practice inserting it a couple times before you try it on yourself. Don't give up!
It'd be really appreciated if you can help me through this question
1. Can I gently screw the cup in ?
2. What shall I do when the cup unfolds before I insert all of it inside ?
3. Is it normal to experience pain to some degree while insertion or does it not hurt at all ? (I want to know this so that I know what's normal and what's not)
I get some discomfort when putting it in but not pain, you might need a little bit of water based lubrication to get it in especially if your getting a lot of discomfort in your lips, you might also need a softer cup firmer cups are generally harder to get used to and if it's your first cup that's a pretty serious barrier to overcome I use a diva cup and it's been relatively easy personally if I get the cup almost all the way in and just a tiny bit is still out I will try to get it the rest of the way in but if half or more is still not in I will take it out completely and try again.

what's creepy about it...? if you use tampons, you do know that the tampon expands inside of you once inserted, right? assuming you're not a kid, hopefully you already know that most women aren't super duper tiny "down there"; you have ample space for a cup. if you're genuinely on the smaller side, many companies make smaller/mini sized cups.
personally, i think cups are the most hygienic and safe option out of them all (pads, tampons, period underwear, etc). you sanitize the cup thoroughly before use, it's extremely effective when properly inserted and vacuum-sealed, and carries less risk of infection than pads/tampons. they're also WAY cheaper than constantly buying disposable period products. a large box of tampons for me was around $15 (which could probably last me for ~4 months max) and if we generously ignore the costs of extra products like night pads, pantyliners, etc... the cost of my saalt cup ($29) is already paid with two boxes of tampons. i'd highly encourage people to be open-minded about period cups if they want to at least save their money, instead of reacting childishly and remain ill-informed.
Dude it’s way better for your body and in my case it made my period less bad. The chemicals in pads and tampons are bad for you and are known for making your period worse.
@@Makusulife I’ve had no issues with pads, so I will keep using pads thank you very much
@@aunibon Great for you if pads work for you, because no one is holding a gun to your head to try one! In fact, it's probably for the best if you love pad to never try a menstrual cup. After trying a cup, I have not been able to go back to the odor of decomposing blood and the constant feeling of wearing and changing a half-diaper. I didn't even notice how bad it was until I tried a cup.
Just got my first cup and disk because of your videos. Excited to try them and hopefully ditch tampons for good!
I hit a block. Idk how to describe it but it stops going in about halfway to where it’s supposed to and doesn’t open. Idk
Hello! Everyone I am a cup user now!
I tried tampons before cups and for me cups are much easier. It's also comfortable. It just looks intimidating at first.
Id think the cup would be very messy to be using and cleaning during our periods. That thought does not appeal toe at all thru it compared to tampons and pads I can just change and discard. The only thing I don't like about tampons/pads are having accidents and that can cause and leave stains on your bed sheets:'( so I am curious if a cup would help diminish those kind of having those kind of accidents happen? Those are embarassing
@@vg2binkey884 if you put the cup correctly then there's no chance of spillage. And most cups can be left for upto 12 hours so you can just reinsert them before bed. Honestly most of the time I wake up and completely forget that I'm on my period. 😅
Question: which area of the privet part do I put it in bc I've only used pads for all of my periods and I'm very confused of which area to put it in.
One question
What age should i use a cup? What’s the best age to start using a cup?
I used the internet and I think it doesn’t matter what age you are but I’m pretty sure there are different mestrule cups for different ages as the internet says There are menstrual cups designed for teenagers as young as 12. So I don’t think it matters.
I hope this helps.
@@Flow_Craft thanks so much yea i’m 11 and just wanted to know and see if maybe they are better than Pads but i may wait a couple years im scared to stick something up me lol
@@TheyLuvBray427 don’t worry I’m 16 and I don’t know personally as i am also scared to stick something up me but I will stick to pads
Useful information!
I tried to remove my cup exactly how you said to and it was just so so painful! i fainted 😢 i guess the cup is not meant for me
I want to practice on inserting my cup, but the problem is is that I tend to be a bit impatient; It would take some time though.
One question, how do you get it back?😭
How do you get it out without pain? I gave up on it because of this issue. And a smaller cup needs to be changed every two hours.
I'm able to get it in all the way (I think? The stick goes almost all in) but I feel it slipping out when I stand. Is it too small?
I've been using a cup for a few months... I had trouble positioning it correctly.. since then I bought a cup applicator ! It's much better !!!!
I bought mine a year ago and tried to insert it once but it just won't go in 😭 So I gave up on it, but before every period I search for these videos but it just doesn't help 😭
no way people walk around with this inside of them. tampons make me anxious 😭
Just did it but did not realize the stem was supposed to be inserted as well; that explains why it feels weird 😂
The stem is usually how you get it out
H- how do u remove the stem ? What if it gets lost in there ????
Lol !! Sameee 😂
it can’t get lost.
Even if it is inserted correctly the stem of the cup feels like its tilted and it hurts a bit. When I try to insert it, it creates the vacuum in halfway and doesn't go further what am i suppose to do?
Just gave it a go 😅 this is Definitely going to be a trial and error, multiple tries type of thing. It feels like it's 'hitting a back wall'
Me litteraly watching this with a cup insider of me
Nirvana, how far do you insert the cup?
I been using a cup for years I just throw it up there😂😂 I don’t even think about it
Try menstrual cup, Start with a small size. Like literally! It lasts for 8-12 hours and is damn comfortable.Trust me, worth it.
Tbh when you try something else than pads you just can't go back
how do you get it out
i love tampons but on my light days (when it just started or almost ended) sometimes it just hurts because of the dryness i suppose. already have the cup and planning to use it now. wish me luck ❤
