BIG NEWS: All D Line Tunneling is Complete!

- All D Line Extension tunnels have been dug!
Thank you to our two massive tunnel boring machines and all the crews working under the city on this momentous transit project in Los Angeles.
Once the D Line Extension project is completed, the line will run from Union Station in downtown LA through its current terminus at Wilshire/Western in Koreatown to the Westwood/VA Hospital in West LA.

So can you give us an update on Phase 1.
& If anybody don’t know that once the Purple/D line Extension P1 open frequencies will be bad. Because there Extending the Yard for The D extension but it’ll be completed in 2026

Eight portals - all at various points within the tunnel. (This was done so that current D line service would not be disrupted at Vermont.)

Hopefully fare enforcement will be a thing when it opens? Nobody will ride a rolling homeless shelter/insane asylum. I rode the system a few days ago and the bums outnumbered paying passengers.
