So Far these seems to show NRS are working Hard on Fixing MK1 and are listening to our Feedback better than Rocksteady.
At least NRS didn’t announce a mk or injustice game exclusive to Meta Quest 3
I wouldn't say that the game is saved but it is starting to go into the right direction. We need more skins, new modes, and additional gameplay options like no Kameos.
The game is centered around kameos no kameos would make it bland and boring af lmao and the combos would be shorter and way less gameplay freedom

I’d say it’s only shortly making a positive comeback, and then people will go back to complaining about the main issues of the game. There are still major gameplay issues, invasions mode is still boring, and micro transactions are still there
Some bad patch will come out and then YT will be like “MK1 DEAD?”’

Mortal Kombat 1 has improved since its launch last year for sure, and continues to get better with each major update
We just need more content added, like Animalities, Friendships, Tag team mode, Kreate a fighter, and more. Also Invasions Mode need to be really improved, it needs to have a map and be made a lot more fun

13:18 True, maybe not an universal defensive mechanic like pushblock, but defensive Kameo Mechanic... I always said some Kameos should have their reversal buffed, and Mavado Reversal seems like the answer. It cost some resources and needs a Flawless block to be done, so you wouldn´t see it all the time, but give this mechanic to Sareena´s tail, Frost ice slam, Shujinko apep punch.... Khameleon doesn´t need one, but defensive especific Kameos, i think is the way... Besides, NRS is just testing this mechanic... its gonna be given to more kameos maybe in season 2 patch

The good thing with the game is that they brought back some og skins which I like and I like the movie skins

As someone who used Shujinko pre-buff and still uses him, the buffs definitely make him viable or in essence you are able to be a Shujinko main where before it wasn't possible. With the buffs every matchup gives him a launcher and better utility moves. The Ermac steals are very strong and Shujinko's worst matchup which was Reiko now gives him a mid command grab (Reiko's is a high) and his ninja stars which are welcome additions. There are more examples but overall a lot of improvements. However, Shujinko in my opinion will forever be a niche kameo as he's not someone you can just pick and use. He's definitely the hardest of the kameos but styling on your opponent with their own moves is always entertaining, it's now more useful rather than just being for novelty.
I've been enjoying MK1 more then MK11 since it came out because of the gameplay, to me it's never been dying anyway. People are so dramatic and/or love being negative 24/7
I mean that’s just the Mortal Kombat communities whole thing. Complaining. All the time. About everything. Even now in making jokes that they’re expense I’m contributing to the complaining.

funny you bring up everyone buff this and that. Tekken 8 was gonna go down that road because for some reason their data listed to bad casuals who don't really under stand game balance and just want bust shit with no structure. But the push back from the fans made the devs actually stop and fix that shit which is great.
We will be getting the proper changes and defense changes. If you wanna see it in detail look up Main man swe as he covers the patch notes and dives deep on it. even the up coming patch to buff defense.

MK 1 is slowly but surely getting better with each major update. It has the potential to beat both Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 as the best fighting game of the year, and I hope NRS improves MK 1 to do that
I'm mk guy but i I'm enjoying Tekken 8 more to me tekken 8 step up but i still like mk1.
Definitely wrong on the push block end of things. If you're going to speed up Kameos to be more aggressive then you need a way to get them off of you and another Kameo isn't the solution. Everyone needs Mavado, Flawless Push Block.
They still need to add more single player content/game modes, but the future is lookin bright for MK1. I wish I had more time to play games
Good release after good release is helping the game, plus it helps that tekken 8 is currently fumbling the bag so hard with its dlc and its scummy buisness practices
Yeah Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 are trash anyway. Mortal Kombat 1 has the potential to beat them both and win over them as the best fighting game this year

Never liked MK 11. MK 11 has always had trash story, trash gameplay, trash new characters, and overall a trash game. I will say that the microtransactions are not as bad
But MK 1 has improved on the microtransactions by giving us genuinely cool skins for low prices of $5. And MK 1 has the potential to fix on its flaws and truly improve

They will probably add those in later on. Mortal Kombat 11 didn't have stage fatalities at launch either. I don't think that game has any klassic stages if I remember correctly.
