    Just purchased this backpack after watching your video. Can’t wait for it to come in. Looks amazing.

      Still have this bag, but did swap to another camera bag to better suit my purposes. I still love this bag though and I’m just using it for normal everyday stuff.

    Great lighting on your videos - keep up the fantastic content. I am wanting to do some product reviews soon too, but haven’t really cracked a formula yet. Your style is great so keep it up!

      I really appreciate it! It took me 2 years to muster up the courage to finally try doing some CZcams videos and only wish I would have started sooner. It’s been a blast!

      Alex Schneider I agree - I wish I would be more consistent and have started shifting towards doing bulk shoots/edits to make it more efficient.

      Partial to my local brewery Bad Habit in St. Joseph, MN. But love a solid IPA and sours! You?

      Of course! I love a lot of local breweries where I’m at. Love a good hazy IPA and smooth stouts.

    I have the V2 20L and the V1 30L ...use the 20 for everyday use and occasional portrait sessions and the 30L for bigger event photography
    I did used to have a V1 20L but I recently gave that one away to a photography bud of mine
    *Sidenote* really digging how you color graded this video

      Love my 30L. Seems to be the right size for me and everything. Use it for everyday use as well as lugging around some of my photography gear. Oh and thanks for watching and the color grading compliment. Means a lot.

    Where do you put food, wallet, earphones, etc in such bag ? When you have it on the side won't the idem on the top fall ?

  • @johnnyliuphoto
    @johnnyliuphoto Před 4 lety +2

    Hi Alex, have you ever ran into any issues fitting the 30L backpack underneath the seat in front of you on an aircraft? The stated dimensions are bigger than what they technically allow as a "personal item" in addition to your carry-on luggage so your insight would be appreciated.

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 4 lety

      Hey Johnny, I’ve used it once on a trip to Florida and I had no issues fitting it underneath the seat in front of me. I even had the top compartment filled pretty full.

  • @marcelfernandezdiaz8767
    @marcelfernandezdiaz8767 Před 4 lety +4

    Can you fit it under a plane seat? I know that would depend on aircraft type / seat configuration, but just general speaking, in your experience....?

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 4 lety +3

      Hey Marcel, thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, in my recent trips with this bag I had no problem with fitting it under the plane seat. It’s a great bag so far!

    Man the measuring for these has thrown me out of wack lol
    Still waiting on my 30L backpack, but I genuinely had a hard time if the 20L was a better size or not. I figured more must be better so I went with the 30, but they look so similarly sized.
    I thought I'd be smart and look up the average size of like a regular Jansport only to find they're 25-28L, so I was just stumped. Guess I'll find out soon.

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před rokem

      The 30L is perfect in my opinion. I tried on a 20L version at my local Best Buy and it just seemed way too small. I wanted something that could carry a little more.
      I recently picked up the Nomatic PM everyday bag and I’m loving it, but I will say the Peak Design has a lot of little pockets that I miss. Also, the PM bag is 25L and also kind of missing the extra 5L.

    Hi I am thinking to buy a peek design backpack for traveling and everyday so I am thinking to buy this one, do you think there is enough space for a 2 weeks of light packing of only clothes and use it as personal item ?

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 5 měsíci

      If you’re not using this as a camera backpack then yeah I think 2 weeks of light clothing packing is doable.

    Hey man, i have stumbled this video accidentally. Coincidently, i am considering the Langly Alpha Globetrotter VS PD everyday V2 30L. However, unsure whether a 16inch Macbook pro would it while its on its hardcase? Can you advise, please?
    Im no pro photographer. Just love the design both of the Langly and PD. But the laptop case would determine it.
    If you could let me know that would be great! More power man!

      Hey Alex I have a 16 inch M1 MacBook Pro with a UAG hard case. It didn’t fit in the 20L. Would it fit in the 30?

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před rokem

      It used to fit a 15in no problem. My wife has one of the new 14in MacBook pros with a hard case for it. I could test that and let you know how that is. If there’s plenty of room with that then it’d be safe to safe the 16in fits too.

  • @kingsuller8179

    Can it fit a peak design camera cube?

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 4 lety

      Not entirely sure. If you take out the dividers in the base of the bag then there’s a possibly that it could, but then you’d be taking another bag out and getting equipment out.

    Any further under the airline seat comments in 2022? I want to buy one, but I'm worried flying in the USA coach might not work with this bag, under the seat.

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 2 lety +1

      I’ve flown with this bag multiple times and always place it underneath the front seat. Never have I had any issues or any flight attendants tell me to place it in the above compartment.

    • @bill3117
      @bill3117 Před 2 lety

      @@alexshotthese Thanks ordered! Of course you may be better looking than me, so the flight attendants give you a break ;) I usually get hassled, even though I'm carrying my old and trusty ThinkTank Photo Urban 15. Maybe my medical equipment bag sets them off? Note a medical device bag (this one is about briefcase size) maybe getting me the attention, unfortunately. But it is not supposed to count towards carry one (I'm talking USA travel). Thanks again!!!

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 4 lety

      No. Should have been more clear, had a pelican 1510 with me for work carrying more gear. Was able to slide my Peak Design on and roll around the pelican. Super handy!

    Do you think Peak Design totepack is a good buy?

    • @chinzeeyuen1628
      @chinzeeyuen1628 Před 4 lety

      I have a mindset that backpack should have zipper that cover all the interior space and everyday backpack top has that shell that never fully classed even in the lowest part, I feel like water will go in if it drop in a river or stuffs, so do you think better get the totepack and since it looks even more unique too?

    • @alexshotthese
      @alexshotthese  Před 4 lety

      @@chinzeeyuen1628 The Everyday backpack, even at it's lowest part closed, will be just fine in rainy weather. Now if you drop either that or the totepack in a river or lake then I'd say neither will protect them from water getting in. Regardless, I believe either one of those options will be a wonderful choice. I haven't played around with the tote bag, but from the videos and photos I've seen, it looks really nice.
