Very helpful video. I put on the new gasket after soaking in hot water but it didnt seal properly. Found this video and use my heat gun to get gasket to seal properly. Added petroleum jelly and it's perfect fit. Thanks!

Can I use a glue to have the gasket cling on to the cabinet?
Unfortunately, letting the gasket soak in the tub allows water to seep into the gasket allows water to seep into it through holes that are in the gasket.
So what do you do instead?
why petroleum jelly used on gas kit ? may i know ?

Thank you Question my GE Frezzer Gasket has ice build up INSIDE gasket. Along the side on lower end. Any ideas on how to remove the ice or should i just replace this. Thanks

How can I find a gasket for an old RCA side by side refrig? I didn't see any on your site.
What is your model number?
@@appliancepartspros The only thing listed on the door is MSX22G.
I was able to locate the part numbers you will need, but the manufacturer has discontinued this part and there is not a replacement for these parts. You can take the part numbers and check around to see if you can locate those in stock somewhere. The part number for the fresh food gasket is WR24X5231 and the freezer door gasket is WR24X5230.
