- Eurowings Trip Report flying from Vienna to Hamburg on a gorgeous autumn afternoon onboard one of the newest Eurowings Airbus A320 Sharklets.
This was a truly nice flight. I just love that golden autumn afternoon light. The views of Vienna just after takeoff, under a super-thin clouds layer, were fantastic. We also enjoyed 2 nice sessions of planespotting both in Vienna airport as well as in Hamburg.

The light at the end of the tunnel is growing. Actually watched three aircraft follow each other into Gatwick yesterday. Two EasyJet’s and a Ryanair. Things are looking up. Hope you’re keeping safe. All the best. Mick🇬🇧 By the way great vid.

That B737 was just with the Air Berlin livery. It was owned by TUI and operating for Eurowings. They kept those B737 for a long time with that livery until they've changed it to the Eurowings one, just some months ago. :)

Muy bonito el vídeo sin duda alguna lo que más me ha gustado ha siso las vistas de la ciudad de Viena son impresionantes , había una claridad perfecta para poder ver esta gran ciudad y también el aeropuerto de la misma ciudad es de los que me gustan. Thanks for another great Trip Report. I’ve only flown on Eurowings on connecting flights. TXL-DUS-MXP both flights were on the A320. I booked the cheap fare, but added the reserved seat near the front, which included a snack & drink from the bar. I was really impressed with Eurowings!✈️

I always had good experiences flying with Eurowings, however, I feel it like "without soul". I mean, it doesn't produce any special feeling on me. For example, you can love or hate Ryanair, but it produces a feeling on you. Same happens with Easyjet, Wizzair, British Airways... But Eurowings, just based on my experience, doesn't produce anything. I don't like it or dislike it. And I think that's not good. I hope you can understand what I mean haha

GRACIAS Lucas por tus vídeos. Aterricé una vez en Hamburgo hace años, era un minihub de Iberia, los vuelos procedentes de Helsinki y Estocolmo hacían una parada
en Hamburgo y luego distribuían a los pasajeros hacia Madrid o Barcelona, entonces volábamos en MD 8x. La ciudad es preciosa desde el cielo, si vuelas en un buen día de otoño.

Me alegra que HAM se vea representado aquí a menudo 😊 Para mi siempre es un alivio aterrizar en HAM sabiendo que estoy en tierra patria. Encima con una aproximación maravillosa, aunque muchas veces es muy turbulenta 💨

Lo cierto es que siempre he tenido buenas experiencias volando a HAM. He ido 2 veces y ambas fueron para presentarme a assesments de aerolíneas. Fueron buenas experiencias que me sirvieron de muchísimo en el futuro :)
A ver si pronto puedo volver por HAM con una aerolínea vacacional. TUI o CONDOR estarían genial. :)

You should fly Blue Air, I know its the situation that it is with this crisis but Blue Air still operate flights between Romania and Spain, and other destinations.

One thing I love about European airports are all the duty free shops. You should see Copenhagen. After security, you enter a shopping mall. Same thing with Stockholm Arlanda in Sweden even though that airport is not as big. Still very nice.
Absolutely! It is something that happens in every airport nowadays. I guess it is the way the have to get more money and reduce the taxes to the airlines so they can put more flights. Which in turn means more pax abd more sells. 😅✈

The route was BRU-CPH-WAW, including one flight on the A320neo and another one on the CRJ900.

Hello! I am from the Philippines. I love the A320 Sharklets since they use less fuel. Cebu Pacific, a Filipino low-cost airline, has one of these on their fleet.
In fact, sharklets use no fuel as they're not powered.

I've flown Eurowings around 7 months ago. I do really like them to be honest however prices are still a little high sometimes. Great report nonetheless!

To be honest, Eurowings is on the airlines that I enjoy the less when flying with them. I never had any bad experience, for sure not... but I feel like it's an airline "without soul". I mean, it doesn't make on me any special feeling. I don't like it, but I neither dislike it. It's something completely plain... For example, the opposite feeling is Ryanair or Wizzair. You can love them or hate them, but nobody leaves the plane without some feelings for them. That's what I mean.
Besides that, they call themselves "low-cost" and in the vast majority of cases, they don't have low-cost prices.

@@OnBoardHD Eurowings can have some cheap prices to Germany however they don't fly to enough destinations in Germany to make it worth it. I paid I think it was 50gbp for a flight from LHR to DUS on the 19th of December which was reasonable in my opinion However I do agree with you in that part, It's basically a Lufthansa plane with a low-cost service. The onboard Wi-Fi is quite good but the prices of Eurowings mostly aren't. I think this is mainly due to the fact they prefer to go to the 'main' airports instead of the 'outer' airports (For example London Heathrow, not Luton) Sure they have a few routes from Stansted but its like 2-3 only. Wish you a good Sunday too :)

B737-800W is the generic form to call all the Boeing 737-800 equipped with Winglets.
800AS is a little more specific, related to the type of engines and other configuration of the plane. I only give that level of detail for the plane we are flying. For all the others, I use the generic one :)

I flew with Eurowings once Cologne-Tennerifa Nord / South idk It was the Eurowings B737-800 In the Airberlin livery with TUIfly crew The machine rail was very damaged from the inside (I thought)
The seats were no longer adjustable, the armrests were broken so 3/10 The only good thing about it was the TUI crew
Sorry but I'm going to miss the premiere. I will be in Humenné for a few hours from the early morning and in going by train.

Hola, queria decirte que el ya hizo algunos vuelos DESPUES de la crisis, como por ejemplo el de condor, y tiene pensado en agosto hacer un par de vuelos con grandes aviones como el A330. Saludos
Como bien dice alguna gente por aquí.... el tema es que los vuelos hay que comprarlos y eso no es nada barato.
Siempre puedes unirte al canal y apoyarnos! De ese modo podríamos hacer un poco más de esas rutas deseadas.

I flew with Eurowings from Las Vegas to Munich. The experience wasn’t that great. A 13 h flight but the entertainment sistem was horrible. I think the plane was a A330
