Exactly what I thought throughout this video. It is utterly embarrassing, especially for a veteran WoW content creator like Hiru, to make a video about mounts without even showing the freaking things. He did the same with the recent BFA mounts as well, barely any footage of them.
Odd that you didn't add images of these mounts while talking about them. I was like... "ok - no clue which one is that" and stopped watching the video. 😂
So.. I like this type of content. However I do wish you would have showed pictures of the mounts. It’s all context on how to get them but I don’t even know what they look like. 🤷🏼♂️ Makes me not really care.
If Mawsworn Soulhunter is not spawning correctly, try to change from or to WM. I often got it to work by turning on WM. Also it seemed a lot more likely to work on the weekly reset or next day.
I randomly got it last day without knowing it dropped a mount. The horse was just running around, bumped into me, I killed it and it dropped the mount xD
Spawn point and path for Fallen Charger depends on the current covenant assault. Plus when they changed it to 1 attempts per day, they significantly increased the drop rate.
No love (or hate) for the Bonehoof Tauralus from Tahonta? In order to get this mount, you needed to be a NecroLord and construct the secret abomination, Neena (a patchwork dog), and have her active with you while fighting Tahonta. Having her with you was the only way for the mount to drop (which wasn't even a guarantee, either), but if you didn't know that, you'd be out of luck.
farmed this for months on multiple toons till some godly player whispered me you know you have to have the dog pet right i was like huh??? told me her name was Neena then i killed em the next day and got it first try after.... smh
Tazavesh gearglider has to be on there instead of marrowfang. No only do you have to do the whole mega dungeon including the trading event to reach the final boss, which takes forever, but by now she has a 99% dmg reduction if you try to farm the mount solo. And no you can't get rid of it by playing the mechanics cause they don't work if you are alone.
you can "cheese" it on a monk. Touch of death oneshots through the reduction, just need to have more hp than the boss, which isn't that hard to get as Brewmaster with fort. Brew
aside from the tip mentioned, you would eventually grow strong enough to do it. Soloing Kil'jaedan was a long awaited victory as well, you just distract yourself with other stuff on your to-do list, try again in 11.2@@OptikFor1

Hardest to farm personally was the Bound Shadehound. Endlessly running arround the maw with the stygia dowser to drain the lil clouds for the crafting mats. Felt like an eternity.
That one wasn't too bad if you found a good farm spot. I located a cave where several nodes spawned with minimal enemies around that could be completely avoided for the most part so I just parked it there and ran between the nodes over and over when they respawned. Definitely not FUN, but I wouldn't say hard.
The Lord of the corpsfly mount is a 1% drop rate and each try takes a good bit of time it can easily take months or years to get depending on how much time you have to spend on the game and how lucky you get.
I no longer play retail and I do not intend to do so anymore, but I still like to watch your content, it would be amazing if you actually show the mount models insetad of random footage and just the icons and descriptions since I haven't played since BFA and I don't have any idea how these mounts look.
Shadowlands raids are pretty undertuned for 70 lvls with 400 ilvl gear. Every group I have been with killed Sylvanas on the first platform, only thing slowing down or killing players was Jaina's and Thrall's bridges.
Thankfully, the only good thing about fated was it gave us so many buffs. I got both mounts during gated season cause bosses fell over if u turned on all fated affixes lol
I left SL only missing 3 mounts 1) Marrowfang (somewhere in the realm of 350 attempts) 2) Sanctum Gloomcharger (almost 100 attempts) 3) Russet Bufonid (schematic from Enlightened paragon chest, across 3 characters 12 chests opened.)
Necroray Eggs were such a Scam. I played the whole of Shadowlands and was doing every WQ to get the Paragon Chests. NOT 1 SINGLE EGG DROP the whole Expac.
Were you necrolord? You can't get them unless you are necrolord and they do not drop from paragon chests. But if you are, it's not just covenant specific callings that can drop them, but several other generic callings as well. Took me 400-500 callings to get all 3.

Hand of Nilganimaht was the hardest mount to get for me because i needed necrolord assault a specific quest. I did get it after a year and that sucked. Still using it. 10/10 Mount
That's not so hard, just random and hidden(like most info about obtain it you can find on side-sites not in game I mean you can just mark wowhead and it will warn you then time has come.
Thx for great guide :) See I still have some mounts to work on here...... All of the rare materials for the crafted mounts can be obtained from the Olea Cache sold by Olea Manu in Faith's Repose. The cache costs 700 Cyhers of the First Ones. Remember I got most of the harder rare materials from that cache. Have all 24 mounts from the Protoform.
Oh wow, I did not know the rare mats for the synthesis can be collected from the Olea Cache. That's awesome, I have thousands of cyphers to burn. Thanks for sharing

SL did in fact have so many mounts i don't Raid on PvP much any more just on occasion and just lv toons farm mounts xmog and what not and i started the xpac with like 312 mounts by the time SL ended i was at around 476 and im still missing mounts from SL also i got the Cryptic Aurelid by accident once i hit exalted with the Enlightened had no idea how to even get it i guess all i needed for that achieve was to hit Exalted but since there was like a yr gap before the first major patch of the xpac all i had to do during lockdown was lv toons and farm mounts.
i actually grinded from 230 mounts to 502 spanning from late sep to mid nov, and I managed to grab litterly all mounts in 3 weeks, so I would say I was quite lucky with my korthia grind lol.
As a returning player. After years off. I need to know how to start all these things XD WoD legion bfa and shadowlands all need quest lines done to even have them “open” for normal questing. I feel like this needs addressed and until then, we need a guide
started last tier and fell in love with vengeance. not many attempts deep as of now but i hope it doesnt take me as long as it took my friend to farm out invicible (since wotlk and just got it a month ago)
The mythic endboss mounts are even more hard to get than it looks at first. The mount has a flat 1 % chance to drop and then you gotta get lucky and get it awarded to you out of 20 players. It's not that every player has a 1 % chance on their own to get it, it's insanely low chance to get it in a 20 man raid. Jaina/nzoth/sylv/Jailer mounts are insane grinds these days.
It's really weird to not show the mount model at some point when you're talking about them, I can't get into the video at all needing to look up context. Usually love your videos so it's disappointing.
nah, it's got a high drop rate, it's merely catching it that's the tough part, it likes to run from The Beastwarrens to the upper right corner of the map, then back again when it spawns again. i know this because i happened to come down just mere moments before he spawned.
Wish I could still like WoW. I have thousands of hours in that game. It just bores me to no end and the janky writing and old engine just makes it feel weird to play.
I hadn't been to a SL zone since probably DF prepatch until very recently wanting to finish some kyrian transmog farming. I did "miss" the themes and attachments we had to some characters. But then you remember the systems and things they forced... It will always there as legacy content and that is best moving forward 😅

i got the metal rat in the tower, it took me like 12 hours, DAY ONE of the release of it being obtainable... i was a regular raider, so my gear was ok, but not top mythic gear content of the time "only mount usable in the maw" and then 1-2 months later they let everyone use the mount screw you blizzard!

i missed a bit the "Fallen Charger" Mount due to the weird spawnrate and spawn in generel.

yup, Fallen Charger is unpredictable, i got it on my second attempt, so no need to farm that one, thankfully.

i didnt know that, i thought that it was simply a drop. damn, i finished most of the constructs, so the road wont be too long for me, good to know.
it's not hard to get tho, you get the construct, and go kill the rare

I LOVED doing every achievement for the Hand of Salaranga meta achievement. I wish they'd add more like that.
Totally agree with you. It maybe felt have difficult or annoying at times. But never felt tedious. It was something rewarding to work towards.

Problem with Marrowfang is also, unless you are a tank or can kill the final boss superfast, he teleports you away and resets.
@@knighthawk3749 The teleporting isn't a problem. I farmed it a couple of months ago with a couple of low ilvl chars and that never happened.
You shoulf include pictures of the mounts so we can secide if they are worth getting.

i got the deaths advance mounts 1 year after korthia was released after 10 paragons or so and i got them both from one chest, thank god....
He has exaggerated on how low the drop chance is. Most people have gotten them after, at most, a dozen or so attempts.
I have 902 mounts and I still need marrowfang. 553 kills and still no drop.
I realized that I did way more in SL than I realized because I have a third of this list.

Gladiator mount in season 4 of shadowlands is the hardest ever mount to get, with only a few 1-2k players with it in all of NA
I obtained the Marrowfang mount by transforming the Quantum Courser mount that drppped for me in Dawn of the Infinites in 10.2.
Shadowlands is so boring and tedious that all the mounts are difficult for me.

i have all these mounts plus i got 2 Mawsworn Soulhunters but i cant even get simple rare spawn drop mounts like Ascended Skymane

Tbf, Jaina Mount was a cake walk in 8.3. Literally even farmed it on my shittiest alt back then and got it on a 420 ilvl Shaman

Ugh shadowlands was the worst, imo specifically 9.2, the protoform stuff was the WORST, and i still refuse to farm genesis motes or iska
