I listened to the first 40 seconds and added it to my playlist. You know when you get a feeling about a band you haven't heard of before, and it just lights you up.
+jeffacake I had exactly the same reaction. I have listened to punk rock/hardcore for over 30 years. I think it is pretty fuckin cool how some musicians can take the old rusty punk rock "cookie cutter" and somehow make fresh fuckin cookies.

I saw them in Brooklyn three days ago. I felt like I was in church or something. I just wanted to sink down and cry like a little boy. Instant life changer. I only regret not shaking Erica's hand.
It's like your buddies local rock band... but your buddy and his friends are really good, and you actually go to their shows sometimes. That's what this makes me think of.
So basically it's not like your buddies band at all, but what everyone silently knows your buddy wishes his band sounded like. Luckily we don't need all of these silly metaphors because they created a genre for what you described. Welcome to Folk Punk.

This is the best record of the past 15 years.
Instant fan. Fun, fast, happy, energetic. The vocals really are what hooked me. I like anything where I can hear the urgency in the vocals. And, of course, the sing a long choruses.

Saw em back in 2012 with Propaghandi having never heard they're music. I was blown away at the show as they played songs from this album with a palpable energy and finesse. Nearly a decade later these songs have grown along with me and are more meaningful. A true classic I'll always appreciate comming back to!
they used to play in my basement because it was the most comfy at the time. times - energy uncompared or something. so didnt' care about the show wreckage when they played it was worth it. Such an amazing band

Honestly, Hunger Suite 1 is way better than anything being playedon commercial radio. Best pop punkband and the band members are so cool with the fans, Jan 8 will be my fifth time seeing em. Super stoked hopefully they release another full lenght this coming yeae.

It is, however the spelling is just different. Like the Scottish electro pop outfit Chvrches is actually pronounced "Churches"
