Excellent explanation of a great kit. Am currently in a four storey house, using the previous generation of devolo Magic 2 and enjoying seamless cover throughout the house. When the time comes to upgrade I will definitely stay with devolo.

I’d be interested to know how the speed compares between a device connected via Ethernet to a Devolo DLAN 1200 powerline adapter vs the same device connected via Wi-Fi to a Devolo Magic 2 Wi-Fi adapter.

I have synology without wifi - can I use this device to connect to current wifi router and synology via ethernet to this device to link synology with internet?
Thank you for your video. I need your advice I have garden office and I have a Livewire 5G CPE Pro with a Vodafone 5G SIM card which gives me a speed up to 250mbps I am about 15 meters from my home. Would you advise this product for me to have similar speeds in the house. I have read some amazon review which were not great. Thank you
Bit late to this review, but very worthwhile as I have just ordered a Devolo Magic 2 Starter kit. One comment, what's going on (4 mins into the video) with the outer insulation not reaching into the plug housing!! ;-)
Can I ask, do the extra access points (Wifi) create there own ssid. I don't want my phone to keep switching networks?
Or would a mesh system be better
I've just upgraded my router, it's a must for gamers
router or adapter?
