Alpha Tek Cave Glitch! Ark Survival Ascended

While trying the waft through the Alpha Tek Cave dangling from an Archaeopteryx, I think I discovered a glitch...
I have been unable to recreate and do not know what has caused this. Please pop a message in the chat if you know the answer.
Flying through the Tek Cave using the Tek Suit's jetpack was good fun and looks great on these graphic settings.

Had the same glitch by accident. Same circumstances! I thought it was a Tek 2.0 (Mod) thing, but apparently not.

I'd love to work out how to replicate it so I could do it again but lure all the dinos in the lava 😀
I don't have any mods really, aside from Svartalfheim and Survive the Night.

maybe when you cliped out the map it let you use the jetpack for some reason?

I think you might be right... its easy enough to clip out and when I do, the jetpack works. But as soon as I clip back in it stops.
Plus, after I did it, I spotted that it seemed to work right from the start.
I'm going to have another shot at seeing how to replicate it as it was pretty cool.

@@ZedsArk haven’t tried it but that’s why it let your use your jet pack. You “left” ascension area

That's what I thought initially, but if you look at the start of the video, it appears enabled before I clipped out.

It was good fun hovering through the Tek Cave - I really love how beautiful it all looks in Ascended.

I don't think this is a server setting. Generally it doesn't work on my server either, so I think it's a Glitch.

I’ve found that swimming through the cave with a faso makes this cave a cake walk. Don’t know if I want the devs to know about it though. They might patch it.

It's immune to the lava damage, is it? And protects the rider, too?

just put a tele in the cave leave then come back all dinos will be gone with no timer, YW
