  • Take a look behind the scenes at a day in the life of a remote worker in Siem Reap. What's it like to live and work in Siem Reap in 2023?
I'll share a typical day of work, show you my accomodation, delicious cambodian restaurants, cafes to work from, gyms, super fast internet speeds, and everything in between. It's a cheep and perfectly set up haven for digital nomads - I think it's the most underrated place I've worked from and would go back in a heart beat!

This is SO helpful! Thank you so much I am also working for a week in siem reap and I wasn’t sure about all these factors!

  • @jimihendrixx11

Thanks - Like the authenticity and humility ( noticed this is common with Aussies)😊

I'm moving back to Siem Reap after 5 years away, and it's great to se someone really enjoying the place. It's such a beautiful town. I'm glad to hear you saying how safe it is because I've read unfortunate stories of people who said they left because they were told horror stories and let that be the filter through which they saw Cambodia, and let it get to their head rather than being objective. I think too many people come to Siem Reap, see Angkor Wat, overpay for stuff on Pub Street and that's it, and they never really got to see what the place has to offer.

    Welcome to Cambodia

I'm old retired and spent the past year searching for ''my'' ideal retirement destination. Siem Reap Cambodia is the winner ! The Philippines came in @ a very close # 2 for me. - - - Been looking at everything SR on here ! Not sure why it would be "underrated" for 'Digital Nomad' endeavors ? Perhaps the size limits some opportunity when compared to a much larger city ? For my personal retirement criteria it appears about perfect in nearly every aspect except perhaps the extreme heat and some very serious medical issues. Bangkok is a cheap one hour flight away for fun and with world class Hospitals & Dr.'s for health care. - - - Can't wait to experience it ! Looks so beautiful. And very cheap !!!

  • @riannecatharina

Thanks for sharing! Looks beautiful this place, hopefully will go there soon :)

Very useful video, we are also starting out a CZcams channel and are always looking out for the best digital nomad spots. Lovely channel and keep up the good work! 😉

Hi. My favorite places too! Gave you met any day traders there or what do the digital nomads usually do? What do you do? Thanks. I’m coming back soon. Tevy is a friend. Angkor fitness my gym. Temple cafe amazing. Hope you’re well !

  • @koufax174

Thank you đŸ™đŸŒ. Today a CZcamsr had a video ranting about how he has only been scammed and felt the most dangerous than anytime in his life. I think maybe because he frequents bars, drinks and his lifestyle. How many people speak English? How friendly are people compared to Philippines? How is transportation?

  • @glimpsesblog486

It’ll be good to put the equipment you use as a digital nomad to record and make your videos etc. Would be really helpful.

  • @glimpsesblog486

How come you didn’t make a digital nomad video for Hanoi, was it bad for you?

  • @Michael_Fritzke

I thought you were already retired, at least that's how it looks
