- Taken from the first morning since ITV began a special nationwide service after the companies emerged from the 11-week-long industrial dispute which crippled the service. Belle Canon accompanies this visual sequence.

Only a 400 hz Tone was Transmitted with ETP1 as by this time the Trade Tape Machines located at the Colour Control Centres had been taken out of Service. As far as I can remember, only the Southern ITV regions Transmitters were playing out ETP1 before the start of Programmes . To make this video truly authentic , excerpts of Brahms Symphony 2 , Dvorak's New World Symphony or Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture would be more appropriate ,
Almost HOOKED ON CLASSICS!
I can't imagine why ITV would be using BBC2's Belle Canon tape?
That’s because it never happened but this guy won’t label anything as a mock (which I know you know 😉)
BBC2 Belle Canon used from Wednesday 15th August 1979 to Wednesday 28th December 1983 just lump aftet Christmas, when the Xmas tapes put away back in the cupboard for another year.
Misleading and does not help those wishing to educate themselves on trade history.
