  • Pastor Colin Smith preached this sermon "The Decision That Really Matters" on Joel 3:1-21 at The Orchard EFC in suburban Chicago in 2013.
Restored! How God can Give Back What You've Lost | Sermon Series Description:
“I will restore the years that the locust has eaten.” That’s a promise written in the book of Joel. In this series, we’ll learn that God can restore lost years. We will hear the truths on how God does this-by deepening our communion with Christ, by multiplying our fruitfulness, and recognizing that God can restore lost years by bringing a long-term gain from a short-term loss.
Open the Bible is the teaching ministry of Pastor Colin Smith. Our mission is to use a broad array of modern media to help people around the world meet Jesus. We do this by opening the Bible for them, helping them open the Bible themselves, and equipping them to open the Bible with others.

Praise God. I stand in agreement with this scriptural based sermon. There's a season for everything. God works in His own time but rest assured when you've stayed faithful through the trials and tribulations, what you do in secret the Lord will reward you openly for, according to His goodness and riches. Keep the Faith dear brethren. You will minister to others and save others as they see you soldiering on through the dark times but in the dawn he will exalt you beyond your enemies and siblings alike. Thank God in advance and claim your victory in Faith, in Jesus' Name. After a tough 2020 praise God that he has brought us to crossover safely into 2021. God willing this will be your Year of Breakthroughs and Restoration in Jesus Name. May everyone reading this message be Blessed Abundantly their families and entire network of friends in Jesus Mighty Name. Cover us with your Precious Blood Lord Jesus Christ. Enemies and demons wil flee in 7 directions but your inheritance, rightful portions and prosperity will chase you. Please also keep me in your prayers for the restoration of my family trust fund, land and company assets embezzled by our unscrupulous trustees who are now feeling the scrutiny by the authorities for their dark deeds. But God is the defender of widows and orphans, he exalts the humble but casts down the haughty and arrogant. Prayers and respect from Fiji 🙏😇🕊️♥️🇫🇯

God, thank you you are not only restoring me, but also others through me! Thank you for given us all a heart that trully cares for God, self and others! In accordance with this word and joel 3:1-21, 1 john 1:7, romans 3:23-25, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind myself, but also my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to be wholy cleansed in our blood lines by the blood of Christ in order all defilement disappears, binding myself not to be unequally yoked with and have any common share with those whose blood lines are not fully cleansed, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah! Thank you God, you are amazing.

I don't think the call to arms in Joel 3:9 refers to man kind warring with God. I believe this passage states that mankind shall be judged for their wickedness, and with this in mind, believers are called to be militant against evil in the world. Not physically violent. But to arm ourselves with the truth, and to hold forth that truth. bold as a soldier in battle.

The world was handed over unto the wicked and Easua runs the world and it oppresses the most high Yahuahs chosen our Elohiym and only savior. Our Messiah told us NOT to worship him only the Father.

African Americans have nothing to do with Deuteronomy 28. They were never blessed, therefore, the curses have nothing to do with them.

@@KnowledgeOverIndoctrination we are not African Americans, the so called black people today are the Israelites according to the Bible. We 100 percent fit all the curses in Deuteronomy 28. Revelation 2:9 speaks on the fake Jews in Israel today, who absolutely fit none of the curses.

@@lionbehavior8282 African Americans have NOTHING to do with the Mediterranean coast nor coming down from the mountains of Ararat. Your ancestors are not from Israel nor were they ever blessed with Deuteronomy 28:1-15. African Americans are not related to ANY Semitic speakers.

Let me correct myself. The Congo of West Africa. Not Northwest Africa. But the Congo/Sub-Saharan West Africa. Also Central Africa. The Bantu expansion has your people all through those lands.

You mean like the Barbary Slave Trade? You mean like that? Or were you referring to how the Africans also stayed inside Africa and simply enslaved other tribes, selling their captives into Egypt and other places? Or were you referring to what the Indians did to each other? (Indian Indians or American Indians, it makes no difference. The all did it.)
History, and the knowledge thereof, makes a difference.
