DIY Banana chips Slicer || Part I- Assembly

Welcome back to my channel!
We made another equipment that might help entrepreneurs speed up their production processing in banana chips making. This might help new business owners start their own production mechanization without spending a lot of their capital purchasing expensive equipment.
We present our home made banana slicer. The frame is made of 1" square tubing with a 5mm flatbar as stiffiner. The sprocket was made of recycled motorcycle engine starter which had already been scrapped due to surface damage.The motor is a spin motor used in dryers. We used 3/4" pillow block and shafting same size with the cutting plate bore diameter. The housing is made of stainless steel sheet 1.5mm thick. We purchased the plate on a local spare parts supplier for $108.79.I modify the plate and replace the blade to achieve a 1mm thickness for the chips.
In this video, we will show you how to assemble our low cost banana chip slicer. we also provide list of materials below for reference.
Materials:
1"square tubing
3/4" pillow block
3/4" shafting,
1.5mm thick stainless sheet
Engine starter sprocket set
Spin motor 220vac single phase
Modified cutting plate and blade
