There is a special upgrade for melting points for this kind of game and nobody uses it. Its Crawler spawning. If you have 6 Melting Points they will spawn 60 crawlers every 30 Seconds.

Most people don’t have it equipped I think. Personally I don’t run that upgrade.

Well, he didnt flank you when he could just win, and you to just make some points break the rule and flank him. Fun until that moment, he would ended you 3 rounds before with such play, but he was just having fun.

I dont understand why MP are not used in every game??? They are stronger than GF or smtg else if upgraded....
Easily countered by too much chaff while also being the most expensive unit in game.
Also quite vulnerable to stormcaller spam and being outranged by pheonix/marksman.
End result is they are very rarely used except when enemy spams giants.
@@dtly50 Melting point has a turning point though. Actually managed to chaff out the melting point and they'll pick the upgrade that splits the beam five ways.
Yes they'll lose single target damage but the swarm counterplay has a REALLY hard time dealing with that.
Especially if they pick up the spawn crawlers on kill upgrade mid match and turns the swarm back on itself effectively.

And thats why the counter play is marksman/pheonix and especially stormcaller.
If marksman/stormcaller was more niche then yeah melting points would be really good as they can counter units that come in range, but almost everyone builds marksman or stormcaller.
You usually can't build melting points if the enemy has already built stormcallers ahead of time.
I really want to play Steel Balls / Melting Point / Hacker / Crawler.
That's a lot of units without aoe/chaff-clear and without anti-air, unfortunately \o/

Hate to be that guy, couldn’t you have spammed wasps Infront of the Vulcan? Would have made him focus on AA and tank his eco even harder, and would also distract the MP’s better
