In my head, you work at an office and film this in the room with all of the printers while on lunch. In reality, you're likely in your basement and are constantly 3D printing things.
I'm a notorious multitasker. Drives my wife crazy. If the 3D printer and the laser cutter are both running while I'm doing a video, I'm in full 100% mode.
Thanks for this! I am super interested in watching this! I think that this d100 system is superb and the expansions are incredible.
With the cuirass and the vambrace (which is a forearm guard. I had to check out what it was too, lol), you pretty much have a top body armour (minus the helmet). So don't you dare get an arrow to the knee before you even start, lol.
Was a bit confused when you rolled a scythe (pronounced sigh-th, by the way) and a shield, because scythes are two handed. Checked the book and saw that it lists the scythe as one handed. In that case, it's not a scythe. It's a sickle.
Haha have you haver had a sythe in your hand? Eventough your rulebook seems to discribe it as two handed you can definately swing it with one as you can attack two handed with a sichle ;)
@@7.7.7_.7..7._ Yeah and you can also swing a Claymore with one hand... In theory. A scythe has a long handle/staff and a large blade; in real life they even often have a secondary handle for easier use. It should be classified as a 2H weapon.
@disciple012 do you get off on being pedantic?
Whatever happened to one scythe fits all? This kind of hair splitting makes me sickle.
Great review, i started this game first time last year but want to have another go soon.
Loved it
I like your use of the iPad! I think I'll try that when I play this again, rather than the using the old pen & paper.
Cuirass, kwee-rass
Thank you!
Cuirass is basically a piece of armor made in one or two pieces of rigid material (mostly metal but boiled leather could do the job) covering your torso. it leaves the arms free for movement.
Cool! Thanks!
Great video!, and very easy follow! I played this some years ago, and now im excited to make a new character and play again😃 Would you mind linking the file for your fillable character sheet?
It's not a single file... it's the actual character sheets from the PDF rulebook.
@thetabletopengineerplays ah, I gotcha. On your pdf copy, if you click a page in the table of contents, does it go to that page? I've had it for years, and mine doesn't. It drove me crazy when I played since I didn't get the physical copy. If there's a new version that does that, I'll be downloading it lol.
Thanks for the content. Can you describe how you got the character sheet on the iPad? Which file format and App? Cheers
Sure. I use an app that let's me create notebooks. Each notebook corresponds to a game I play. I exported the character sheet PDF pages to PNG files and imported them as images. The app lets me use my pencil to write on the image. Easy.
What is the name of the app?
@@darrylsheldon9336 Sorry - I wasn't at home when I wrote that reply. I'll get you the app name tonight.
It's called GoodNotes.
