So pure and distorted at the same time it psychedelics the sound
I could set their and listen to their drum lines all day. No epic build ups or hyper-american breakdowns. Solid organic, slightly off track indie patterns that just work !!!
Please read: I've seen them live in a small club in my town few years ago in Italy and they played much much better, it's a very emerging band on their first steps, and probably THE first band having resonance outside Italy or at least trying and managing to get some attention (which it's something reeeally rare and something this guys deserves) I guess the emotional factor played an important part here in the poor performance. So for everyone listening: get to their album on CZcams, listen to them (they're absolutely amazing, great sound, great music) and if you have the chance go see them live forget this bad performance give'em a 2nd chance. As for you Be Forest,if you are reading this congratulations guys but you were not ready yet for this,now learn from this and go on! I saw you in Naples 6 years ago or something and since then I am following. Go on! Go on but don't forget on us in Italy! - Gabriel S.
I Love them so. this band is amazing and I've downloaded a bunch on Google play. They harmonize much better in the studio person who likes to bring people down. This band is straight top notch!

These guys are so fucking amazing. Really great sound and they're lovely people to boot. Saw them a couple of times in November and they were really great. To the dude that thinks they sound like the J&M Chain, wtf are you smoking? clearly they've got the dream pop, shoegazy vibe. Guitars maybe a little like Slowdive but cool tribal drums, girl vocals. Totally like the J&M Chain....not
Ed Taboada I bet you their drummer caught so much flak over the years when the truth is she has a unique style and sound that is missing from most so called "Mainstream" music. Her timing is off, but it is consistently off which is really cool.
+MrFeyerwire im not hearing off timing drumming but more so a lot of syncopation and it's so tribal sounding. Their guitarist too is so absolutely phenomenal. Reminds me a lot of Rowland S Howard and Joshua Hayward

My guess is that it's an older 20 inch medium Ride probably a Zildijian or Sabian. it's all about the quality of cymbals and the good one's age like violins. Love Love Love this band!

Jacob Skillet Saw 'em live at a tiny local festival just a couple of weeks ago that I helped out at, met them and they don't play live with any of backtracks, but still sound reeeally good.
probs a synth pedal on his pedalboard or even an electric drum trigger could do it.
