As someone who never had any of these endings, it's incredibly uncanny seeing Kara and Alice as androids with no skin or clothes
I’m surprised the Kara vs soldier fight scene didn’t draw any attention since you could see soldiers in view.
Just a polt hole since there were so many scenes to do based on sheer variation. The writers/ animators just definitely didnt realise

The first time I played D:BH I had the ending where the two of them die inside the deactivation machine. I was so sad and I felt empty 'cause they were so brave and went all that sh*t together for nothing. Yes, at first they were machines, but they stopped being that when they started feeling and having consciousness, so even if they're different they're a new form of life (imo). They deserved to awaken 'cause anyone wouldn't like to be a slave. Anyway, I completely understood the androids while the story was going on. Plus, I acted peacefully and people were very cruel/rude. If there's a prequel/sequel, I'll do whatever it takes to save them and I'll have the slightest empathy with humans (although I'm not a supporter of violence, but they are and they generally don't care, so *_existencial crisis_* ).

@@bunnyravve I've been a LIS fan since the first games. My favorite one is LIS 2. Love Sean and Daniel, the story is really enjoyable and emotional. Waiting for True Colors. I've also played the last season of The Walking Dead Telltale. It's scary but entertaining at the same time.

There are other types of games where you can also affect the game future and have different outcomes and possibilities, like The Witcher 3 or Fallout Vegas, etc., but those are kind of different.
I’m sad I had to sacrifice Ralph but at least I made it out with Luther, Alice and Kara in my main playthrough 😅

You can actually sacrifice zlatkos creations instead of Ralph. I never met Ralph in my first playthrough but also ended up in the camp and was able to escape with Luther and Alice that way.
Kara and Alice are the most tragic characters there are and their story is just so beautiful.

the creators of the game have made it this way. they chose Detroit because it’s very well known for its black peoples rights and white people not agreeing and then they chose the camp to be like auchswitz...

@@kkashlee The game draws inspiration from the racism humans have already proven to be capable of. But it isn't only American racism, the recall centres are analogous to the nazi concentration camps. The blue ends of the shirts make me think of the yellow star of david jews had to wear under the nazi regime. And the heavy segregation you see in the game was also something the nazis did, but not only the nazis. For example, in the buses you see that androids have to stand in the back, what black people had to do in the USA.
I know that Kara and Alice can be saved when Markus does Revolution, but is there anything specific that is necessary?
If you want Markus to save them from the camp you have to basically ignore all options and opportunities for them to escape on their own. If Markus succeeds in defeating the army, Kara and Alice will be saved by his androids right before they enter the destruction device.
For the best ending for the camp you need Markus to choose the revolution path. If he's successful he will free the camp including Kara Alice Luther Jerry Ralph and all other androids.

@@pnutgamer201 no he can't save them from the camp if Markus is going peaceful. What Markus does effects what happens to Kara. If Markus is going the peaceful protest then it's best to have Kara at the border she can get across without sacrificing anyone. If Markus is going the revolution war path then it's best to have Kara captured and sent to the camp so Markus can free the camp and you don't have to sacrifice anyone to escape just use the androids from Zlatko to create a diversion to join Alice in line then Markus wins the revolution and comes for them just as Kara and Alice enter the recycling machine.

i like the markus saving kara and alice ending the most. the attack on the camp and the markus vs connor fight meant so much more knowing i was fighting for markus kara and alice
Due one single stupid decision, I had to witness one of the most shocking things I ever saw in any game and it is all my fault. I had to literally go watch FROZEN and sing "do-you want to build a snowman" with my neighbor just to clear my mind of the humiliating atrocities. Why do I keep doing that to myself is beyond me.
Same here. Pressed one single wrong key in a quick time event, and it resulted in me having to watch Kara and Alice die in a concentration camp after all they'd been through together.
But hey, that's the sad reality.

@@osk3253 You need to have make friendship with the droids from the amusement park. They'll offer you a distraction to escape in a fence hole where a guard holds a gun right in front of it. At least I got Kara to kill another stupid human before going, but it was still very humiliating.
@@cybergothika6906 I did befriend those droids from Amusement park but never saw them again after that night. And the Next chapter with Kara was with Rose and her son Adam.

Sorry but to me causing a HUMAN family to have to wait for the next bus is less of a sacrifice than killing one of your allies. Also even if they're alive in some endings there, they've been through so much more pain it's horrifying. I prefer when they're happily in Canada, not when they're still stuck in Detroit where humans could decide to kill them at any given time.

Or if its full good ending, the fighting stops peacefully.

İ am always peaceful as Markus until Jericho raid, but after that i pick the revolution route. So to keep Alice, Luther and Kara alive, i get caught as them and let Markus save them😅
my very first ending playing this game was Kara and Alice destruction in the camp :C It was unintentional because I'm not familiar with videogames therefore I was so bad at punching the correct letters lol I spilled some tears because I really wanted them to live
I got the last one in my first gameplay, I was so happy that my revolution saved them. Luther survived as well! I only lost Connor when trying to awaken the deviants, I didn't find Hank's son photo and didn't know his name when he asked me... I was still happy with my ending tho
I played and finished Detroit on my cousin's PS4 and he got Alice and Kara to the recall center while i just got to the border
I wonder what the world percentage is for players who chose to abandon Alice to die in the recycling centre......

Yes you need Markus to choose the revolution path not the peaceful protest and if he wins the war he will free the camp including Kara Alice Luther Jerry Ralph and all other androids in the camp.

@@dtrezy5223 if u do the peaceful protest and go to the camp does everyone survive like the characters we know meaning if u sacrifice the random android u meet in the camp if so does that allow Luther Kara Alice jerry and ralph to survive and if again u go for the peaceful protest and steal the tickets does everyone in the camp still survive i would be kinda sad if ralph died an i didn't even know it ralph was cool dude
@@fusifaafia1363 If you go the peaceful protest route, the only way anyone in the camp survives is if they manage to escape. If Markus does not fight, the camp is wiped out before the humans stop on their own.

What the fuck, dude?😂 Though i love him, they should have made Luther more masculine as a character, sometimes he is too soft. And how did Kara manage to win? Even with Todd she struggled more. No one noticed them fighting, that makes this shit even funnier
On my first playthrough of this game, I got them all the way to the border of Canada, the boat ending. But at THE LAST MOMENT I screwed it up and got all three of them killed, Luther, Kara and Alice. That final shot of Kara kneeling on the shore of Canadian territory, holding onto Alice's body as she (Kara) shuts down still haunts my nightmares, they made it to freedom only to die moments before they could reach safety. I was so upset with the ending I got that I replayed it multiple times to get the good one.

Surrender when escaping Jericho or you can get caught when sneaking past the guards on the way to the bus terminal or approach the guard too quickly when rescuing Luther and Jerry.
