This is the longplay of the game Super Mario Bros. The Lost Players, Super Mario World rom hack produced by Adam, Truxton, beasteye89, lolyoshi, rextep. This is version 1.1, released in 2021.
The story of this game is as follows: the character Mario falls asleep after a hard day's work and finds himself in a dream with familiar and strange worlds merging and mingling, with elements from Super Mario Bros and other games. With difficulty waking up from this strange walk down memory lane, he must keep moving forward, wherever he wants it to take him in order to wake up from this deep sleep.
The game is a mixture of Super Mario Bros and Super Mario World, being a clear tribute to these two games, in addition to mixing elements from other games. The graphics are very colorful, the songs are 16 bit versions of songs from other games, but they fit well in this game. The game has a relatively high difficulty compared to other rom hacks, but its stages are short, making it rewarding to complete each stage. The game has the Normal (infinite lives and saves the game in each level) and hard levels (limited lives and saves the game in each world). There is a 2 player mode, but it is for one player only, as the player controls Mario and Luigi alternately.
The video was made in two playthroughs, one with only Mario in Normal mode and without entering any bonus stages and another with Mario and Luigi ("2 players", in quotation marks) accessing the bonus stages. There are other stages after the second playthrough (based on Super Mario World) but unfortunately these stages are full of bugs, so unfortunately I couldn't show them, but who knows in a future version. You know, after all of these years, I never understood why Sonic and Mario never had a true crossover adventure officially released. The Sonic Universe had developed a good cast of characters and on bad ass boss and The Mario Universe the same. Its as simple as using the Chaos Emeralds with Chaos Control. Imagine Eggman and Bowser teaming up with some collaborative agenda. "You help me get the emeralds and I will help your get the stars!"
This is cool. I like how different the levels are. One minute you're exploring a nsmb style tower, and another minute you're riding a plane through a city.
I had more fun guessing the game for each background song. Thanks for this😊

Dude, the timer in this hack is in faster than it was in Super Mario Bros. and Lost Levels. I wanted to say 1 and 2, but I don't wanna confuse Lost Levels with that American Doki Doki Panic rip-off.

@@GMKGoji01 Yes, and I played both SMB 1 and Lost Levels before. It's the same speed as the NES/SNES versions. You're probably used to the newer games.
