This is some nice kit. Im not quiet ready for it myself but i remember going from cheap store bought rc toys to proper hobby grade rc cars that weigh a ton, and have oil shocks, go 50mph. This is the endgame, fully serviceable nano canister filter.

Loving the minimalist look. It’s super quiet which is perfect for my bedroom. I don’t know why, but I was surprised that it has some heft to it. You can certainly tell it’s a quality product. I may be too obsessed with UNS products at this point.

Cheers from my fish room in Chicago! I just subscribed :) Like everyone, I love these new filters. However, I have a VERY similar micro filter from Landen, which has all the stainless whistles and bells too!
Cool, welcome. The biggest difference is that with UNS, you deal with a US owned and operated company. Their headquarters and customer service is all in LA, California. Just like Aquarium Co-Op products, they want the dealer network to give outstanding customer service. They in return provide us the dealer network with exceptional support. Whenever I've had an issue with an item, they ship replacements right away if I don't have one in stock. In over an year dealing with them its been first class service, and I in turn do the same for our customers. This not being my first store, I have dealt with other Chinese based brands and I had to eat any defects if I wanted to keep a customer happy, everything was a hassle. UNS, has built a great reputation within the community. What's also great is that I have paid for all the products I review, so if I don't like it, I don't buy it again. Thank you for subscribing! I'm a HUGE fan of UNS and use their aquasoil and CO2 regulators exclusively in all the tanks in my fish room. If the Blitz were avail when i bought the Landen I would have chosen it hands down.@@natureaquariumsusa

Great review and demonstration!! Do you think this would be suitable for a 5N? I know it’s not quite rated for that much volume, but it seems like it might work okay. Just curious what your opinion is.
Hi which model the 6oz or the 32? The 6 oz is fine for a 5n slow flow. Or the 32 for more flow
Hola , excelente explicacion excelente producto minimalismo extremo ... Creo que este filtro es tan bonito como prestacional en su segmento , hay que tener en cuenta la complejidad de su construccion, por ejemplo la rosca interior del cuerpo , etc .

So you are right. I haven’t done the 32. I’ve had it running for a while on our tanks. I should do a video on it. Good idea.
Ok so you set it up wrong. If the water flows from bottom to top you should have the 1st stringer then bio media then fine pad then corse pad also if you use carbon it would go at the very top above the the biology media. So from the bottom it should be bottom stringer corse pad medium pad fine pad bio media and then carbon then top stringer
Hi, you are correct when setting up multi tray no bypass filters. This filter the water flows through it so quickly that the sponges at each end are used to keep the media in place. Its like a hang on back.
really bad design, price, and flow. UNS needs to just stick to tanks. Nice review, hopefully it doesn't start leaking when the screw starts wearing and stripping.
Hi. Do you have one running? What screw are you talking about? I have both running for a while in two different tanks. The small one is actually too powerful for a 3n. Please let me know what issues you are having with it.
200 dollars for a 6 oz filter? No thanks
So it’s not for every aquarium. It’s like rimless low iron glass tank vs a regular rimmed tank. These filters work really well, very solid and well built. But high quality and innovative design doesn’t always come cheap.
in no shape or form is a fancy soda can worth 200$

So it’s not flimsy at all. It’s very heavy. Actually customers are impressed with it when they see it and lift it in person. Like I said it’s not for everyone. But it’s for either long tanks or tanks where a heavy biological filtration or flow is desirable. Think the flow is like a high end internal filter but not taking up space in the tank. They are expensive but when you see it in person you will appreciate it.

Joey I’m not sponsored. None of my videos are sponsored. I review the product ahead of time. I also have paid for every product that I have reviewed. If it’s crap I don’t sell it. I only promote products that I like and work as advertised. See unlike you tubers that make their money by pushing products, making fake reviews and living off monetization, I have to make my living dealing with customers and taking care of their problems in person. If I have a manufacturer that makes a crappy product I have to deal with it. CZcamsrs filming out of their basements don’t. I’m not knocking your opinion as i respect your opinion. I would like to know what your experience has been owning one so I can try to replicate your issues so that I can get UNS to make adjustments. They are very responsive to feedback and the few times one of my customers have had an issue they have supported myself and the customer - in other words made my company look good in front of the customer.
